Is it normal to feel pressure pain and more difficulty to walk suddenly at week 35?

Pressure pain feels v low down #firsttimemom

Yups cause baby is heavier and head down. Take it slow and walk slowly.

How Do Maternity Leave Works??

Can i know does maternity leave start during the time we go labour or? When the baby is out? My edd is 25/11/19 i plan to take hospitalisation leave at least 2weeks before my edd, if i were to take HL 2weeks in advance will they consider it as ML??

i took my 1st 2 wks b4 edd & my 2nd a wk b4 edd & staggered it throughout the year

Pregnancy anxiety?

Prior to being pregnant, I travel quite a bit and my last trip was right before I got pregnant. My husband doesn’t slow me to travel when I am pregnant, but somehow, I start to feel emotional and upset when my husband will constantly remind me of the uncertain travel plan which trigger my anxiety so bad that I would almost cry on the spot. The thought of my life going to change drastically caused me to fear quite abit ..like even at my last 4 months before the baby arrives , I have to keep coming to terms and resign to fate that life is going to change drastically… I do look forward to having a baby and being a responsible mum but I also know, life after having a baby will change unlike my husband thinking it’s going to be so easy like we can travel after the child is born .. I am not someone that will leave my child with helper and grandparents to go overseas.. Maybe is my anxiety , maybe it’s my immaturity.. I went home and broke down in the toilet but I really can’t help but to feel very upset .. I have no avenue to voice out but I can only rant here… 🥺

Baby smaller than gestational age

I’m at 31 weeks now but baby’s AC is measuring at 28 weeks. HC is normal though. Anyone experience the same before? FTM here.

What did the gynae say ? As they should advise accordingly

Wear binder months after csect

Those mummies that went thru csect, how long did you continue using your binder ? Is it normal to still wear binder even after confinement or 1.5 months. I feel like it helps to keep everything together esp with a saggy bulging tummy

Pregnancy stories and now I can’t help but feel scared

It seems that people around you feel more compelled to share their pregnancy stories with you voluntarily… from overdue to losing their kid to stillborn. Lately I ask felt compelled to read about an article abt it happening to an unfortunate mother 8-9 months, also wanted to know what went wrong… I feel a little overwhelmed sometimes having lost one in the past in tri 1 without anyone other than my hb knowing. I am not annoyed by these people just I can’t help but feel worried now that I’m 33 weeks…… just sharing my thoughts I guess

For me, i will see cute babies picture or videos. Talk to my baby. Lastly, enjoy the last few weeks of the pregnancy. Have faith in your baby.

Bulging tummy even after PP massage

Those that went thru csect, will our bulging tummy go back to prepregnancy size anytime soon? I am done with my confinement & PP massage, i have lost around 8kg, however my tummy is still bulging and waist & thigh is still big ☹️ and the inside of my lower tummy when standing up is still quite hard. Will it go away over time ?

Hi mum, some hardness or bulging after C-section can happen and recovery honestly can take much longer than expected, so try not to panic. Since you’re noticing persistent changes even after massage and weight loss, maybe ask your gynae to check if things like muscle separation or healing are contributing, and 8kg down is already amazing.

Seafood after csect

Thos that went thru csect, how many weeks/months after the surgery did you start eating seafood back? As they said it might make your wound itchy. I am done with 40 days confinement is it safe to eat?

I ordered confinement food service from Thomson Medical and they served fish in some meals. And my wound is well and fine

Is this normal?

I’m a FTM at week 10. I’m experiencing occasional cramps in one side of my butt cheeks (none for abdominal, no abnormal discharge etc). Feels somewhat like having a pulled nerve. It’s been a few days and for no reason. Never encountered this bef preg or not like I’ve done any strenuous exercises ever since I’m preg. Is it a concern? Anyone experienced it too #firsttimemom #advicepls

Yups! Sciatica pain totally normal, common and will come and go the whole preg

Condom & pull out method

I am a month PP would like to know. I dont wish to get pregnant again. If we do the deed on non ovulation days, wear condom and pull out before ejaculate, is there still chance of getting pregnant ? When using condom do you let you husband cum inside you or pull out still?
