30 weeks with spotting

Hello everyone. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant. On Monday 20/11 I saw some spotting and when I wipe there was blood. To be on the safer side we went to the hospital. They did their check and scan baby. She is doing well and placenta is also good. However I had to stay because the spotting continued still here 24/11. On 23/11 they gave me a steroid shot to prevent early labour just in case even though I was not showing any signs of early labour. Anyway I am optimistic that I’ll be going home today on advice by the doctor but will be on HL. Just wanted to check any moms go through this? I am afraid when I go home I’ll be so paranoid about early labour and all that. But honestly my baby feels fine she’s still kicking away, heart beat is good etc. have you been through this? Do you think I can still give birth naturally without c-sect or induce? I am also a ftm!! Please advice thank you all 😘 much appreciated!! 🙏🏾

Emotional breakdown

Is it normal to breakdown suddenly during pregnancy? Or am I having depression? I'm having my 1st baby and I'm week 22 now. 1st trim more of worrying the wellbeing and health of baby. Now I'm just easily triggered and breakdown to tears.#firsttimemom #Emotional

It’s normal. Hormones is the culprit. I get easily emotional throughout the whole pregnancy. Hang in there, mommy.

My 21 mnth is refusing the bottle due to molar teething i guess. Will she drink bottle back again?

Most toddlers do go back to the bottle once the teething discomfort settles, so it is usually a temporary phase rather than a permanent refusal. My girl did the same around that age, and once her molars came through properly she was back to her usual feeding routine. It might help to try a softer teat or offer the bottle when she is calm and drowsy, as some kids find it easier then. That said, at 21 months she is at an age where transitioning to a sippy cup or straw cup is also quite manageable if the bottle refusal stretches longer, so either way you have options lah.

Hairy tummy after giving birth

I gave birth 2 months ago and i just realised my tummy is quite hairy after birth. Like the whole tummy. Not sure because of hormone or what. Anyone experiencing same thing? #firsttimemom

Feeling cold during 1st trimester

1st tri tests (NIPT etc)

Hi all, I’m with private gynae clinic and my gynae only suggested NIPT and no need for Oscar. Can I check whether this is the case for most mummies? And may I ask how much u paid for NIPT? Thanks. #advicepls #firsttimemom

Twin delivery #advicepls

Anyone has experience with twin delivery? We are thinking whether to stick to delivering at TMC or switch to NUH/KKH under subsidized patient as we aren’t sure about the costs. Would like to find out for fraternal twins typically: 1. when are fraternal twins delivered? 2. do twins require NICU stay & how long? 3. which hospital did you deliver at and how much are the costs? Thank you.

My colleague went to SGH for specialist since twins have a higher premature birth rate. And she and her babies fared better even though they ended up in NICU for a long while. But costs for private sadly. Thats about all i know of
