Hairy tummy after giving birth

Hi mummies, anyone experienced increased hair growth after giving birth? Especially around tummy. Prepregnancy and during pregnancy i only got hair around the linea niagra. However after giving birth, literally my whole tummy is hairy🥵 Any mummies experience same thing? Do i shave/wax? Scared itll grow even more or darker

How do you treat fever in your first trimester?

Hi mummies need some advices here. Beside taking panadol, is there any other drinks that we can take to help bring down the body temperature fast? I used to take barley when i am not pregnant but i am afraid its too cooling for the baby/womb. Any suggestions?

Cooling water is good for fever, i just take it. It wont affect baby.

Risk for fetal growth restriction

Hi mummies, i am 14 weeks pregnant and my test results show that i’m having borderline high risk for fetal growth restriction (1 in 140). Have anyone encountered this and how do you manage?

I had a higher-risk screening result during pregnancy too, mummy, and it really worried me at first 😢❤️ My OB explained that it's a risk assessment, not a diagnosis. In my case, I just had more frequent monitoring and growth scans to keep an eye on baby's development. Try not to panic over the number alone and follow your doctor's recommendations closely. Wishing you a smooth pregnancy and a growing healthy baby 🤍

Is this keloid ?

Hi mummies that went through csection. How do i know if i have keloid? I am 10 weeks PP, and since 4 weeks PP or so my incision has been hard and little bit raised like a little bump compared to the other part of the skin. (But it doesnt look raised, just when i touch) Colour is pinkish. When i went for my 7 weeks follow up gynae appt, she didnt mention raise anything about having keloid. Is this the start of keloid ? I do have the anti keloid gel.

At 10 weeks PP the scar is still actively healing, so some firmness and a pinkish raised feeling is pretty normal at this stage, and your gynae likely would have flagged it if she was worried. That said, since you already have the anti-keloid gel, it is worth asking your gynae or PD whether to start using it now, just so you are not waiting too long if it does need attention. I will be honest, my own C-section scar felt exactly like what you described and it eventually flattened out over several months, but I know not everyone's experience is the same. If you are unsure or it starts looking more raised or spreading wider, just call your gynae's clinic for a quick check rather than waiting for the next scheduled appointment.
