Caffeine Intake

Mummies, is it okay to limit caffeine intake to 1-2 cups of tea per day during pregnancy? I cannot go a day without it :( #advicepls #firsttimemom

Slightly elevated fasting glucose reading in first trimester

Hi mummies, can i check if its common to see your fasting glucose level in the morning to be slightly elevated even during your first trimester? Like 5.5mmol? I am not overweight and dont really take sugary drink and i dont think i have diabetes before pregnancy.. kind of stress about it..

Dun be stress. But first trim from what i understand shouldnt be.. mayb its just what u ate the night before?

Dr Paul Tseng doesnt require you to do GTT?

Hi any mummies with Dr Paul Tseng before? Heard that he doesnt require you to do Glucose tolerance test or any other unnecessary test unless you ask for it. Is that true?

I have not personally seen Dr Paul Tseng, but my friend delivered under him at Thomson and she mentioned he is quite relaxed about routine tests and lets you decide together with him rather than ordering everything automatically. She felt it was a good experience overall because he explains what each test is for and you can have a proper conversation about whether you really need it.

Anyone having lumps/bumps in the private area?

I seem to be noticing more lumps/bumps along my bikini line and even on the labia? Not sure if this is normal during pregnancy? I'm keeping clean in the area. Not sure what may be causing it. #advicepls

Is it very small tiny bumps ? If yes, then yup i got it dueing pregnancy. Maybe because of hormone and that area is extra sensitive when preggy
