I am in my second trimester and I keep scratching my body all day. What's happening? Is this normal?

Same experience po. I'm on my second trimester. Ang kati kati ng buong katawan ko. Kung high blood sugar ako ibig sabihin kailangan magbawas ng mga matatamis po? Pati po ba rice? Ang payat ko pa naman. Nahirapan ako sa first trimester hindi ako nakakain ng maayos. Bumagsak buong katawan dahil sa selan.

I am in my third trimester and the minute I cough, my lower stomach area starts hurting. Is this normal?

Yes it is normal, as by this time, your muscles have stretched a lot to accommodate baby. Often it also leads to soreness, and when you cough, the pull in your muscles causes the pain. Do speak to your doctor avoid it. And once your baby is born, you will soon notice that the pain has disappeared. Take care :)

asking on behalf, anyone experience private area and foot area swollen during pregnancy at 3rd tri?

Not me personally in these areas but it's very common and normal during pregnancy to experience swelling here. Ensuring that you're drinking lots of water.

Is taking dry fruit beneficial during pregnancy?

Yes dear, dry fruits are extremely beneficial at all times, including when you are pregnant. But remember that too much of anything is bad, so you can have a handful of mixed dry fruits a day, but check with your doctor if you have any medical condition. Some dry fruits that are very good and are generally taken during pregnancy include pistachio (rich in vitamin B6), almonds (rich in vitamin E), dried apricots (rich in vitamin E), pine nuts (rich in vitamin K). Almonds, dried fig and dates can reduce risk of preeclampsia and hypertension and is beneficial for your baby's nerves, muscles and bone development. Cashew nuts, walnuts, apricots and pistachios are rich in copper and will help your muscles perform well. Dry fruits contain a mix of nutrients that will help in the right development and growth of your baby inside the womb and also take care of your health.

My mom is pregnant again after having 5 kids and is now 41, I'm ashamed and angry. What should I do?

Hi dear, since you raised this on a public forum, I would ask you one thing - why are you ashamed and angry? I mean, do you think the pregnancy is something she did not want and was forced upon her? Or do you feel that just because she is 41 she does not have the right to be physical and have a baby again? If she can be a mother to you and raise you well, I am sure she can do it again, and having raised 5 kids will in fact make her a powerhouse of information and experience, which will only help her. By the way, instead of being angry, maybe you could show her your support and tell her you are there to help. Those hormonal changes will be quite difficult to manage at this age, and I am sure she will love you even more for your love and support. Think about it :)

How can a mother with a positive blood group have a child with a negative blood group?
