having a baby is one of the most amazing experience in the world, but only if you do so with the right person at the right time. talk to your partner and understand his thoughts. plan your finances and see how you will be able to devote time to the baby. see what all support system you will have if you plan to work after having your baby. end of the day, it is you and your partner who should decide when to have a baby :)

I am now in my second trimester. encountered red scratches at my hip areas (upper part of my thighs) on each side. Is this normal and caused by stretch marks? Can I apply anything or just let it heal on its own?

Sounds like stretch marks to me. I applied coconut oil, you can also try palmers stretch mark oil. That will help greatly. Keep the area moisturized. It worked for me i hope it helps you too.
