Menses only appear once after giving birth

Hi mummies, I'm on contraceptive pills and have been consuming it since baby was 1 month old. I realised that my menses came shortly after giving birth upon consuming pills despite breastfeeding. Since then, my menses have not came. Baby is going 6 months old. Does any one face this before? # #contraceptivepills #nomensturation

Hm. If you bleed right after giving birth, it's lochia, not menses. Are u certain it's menses and not lochia?

Is it okay to do shoulder and head massage at 13 weeks?

Hi! I am currently 13 weeks and have been experiencing shoulder and neck pain. I would really like to go for a massage but I know alot of places will not massage pregnant women till much later. But the pain is making me uncomfortable and I also know salonpas is not encouraged. Any tips to overcome this? Is it true massage is not allowed? Thank you

First Period after C section

Hi Mummies, Yesterday I got my period first time after I have had the baby. My baby is 10 months old and it was a c section delivery. Although I am experiencing this period to be very different than my pre baby periods. There is no pain or cramping which used to be the case earlier and the flow is also not very heavy. I am not sure if this is normal? Any mummies can share their experience please ? How long will this period last? Thank you! #firsttimemom #advicemommies

wow you got your period so late. I had mine around 3 months after childbirth. yes less cramps and less flow now

Hi mummies, anyone got copper IUD before and how was it ? Whats the side effect and hows your period? Heard that it doesnt affect hormone but period will be very painful and more heavy flow. And if I accidently get pregnant with IUD, theres a chance of ectopic pregnancy and would need to remove one tube. Is it true ? Im planning to get a non hormonal contraceptive and at the same time will still use protection.

Hello! I had it before starting a family because I got married young and we were still in university so we didn't want to accidentally get pregnant. We became part of the 0.01% and after 2 years of marriage, I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to remove my left tube cos the baby was alr 6+ weeks. We took it as a sign from god to try for a baby and had my son soon after... For me I had a lot more cramping and slightly heavier start of period but longer to clear as well.. usually 8 days I think. But aside from that, no issues. Haha would do it again after we are done having kids.

Childcare nap time

Does childcare have nap time for toddler? LO about 18 months and gonna start school soon

Yes! Usually 3 hours, 12-3pm. My son was in private and then moved to public/subsidized school. Both of them the nap time is the same haha

Start on solids

I'm kinda of worried.My LO just started to solids this few days and the milk intake dips.From total intake of 650ml dip to 400ml.What should I do?I tried to force feed my LO to drink but she refused.And suddenly there is change in her sleeping pattern.Now she is deep sleep from 2030 onwards and will refused 2100 and midnight feeds.She refused to be dream feed now.

travelling w fm guidelines?

hello parents, i’ll be travelling with my 7mo this friday and im super overwhelmed about everything 😖 im mostly worried about these things: 1. im exclusively pumping and bottle-feeding LO, the airport limits all liquid to 100ml— how do i prepare FM if LO is hungry? can i even top up warm water if we’re waiting by the gate? 2. is it better to purchase baby food/snacks in the airport or can/should i pack ready-to-eat meals instead? 3. we also have a midnight flight :’) any tips to prevent baby from waking up in the middle of the flight? if there’s anything else i should know while travelling with LO, it would be very appreciated! tia 🫶🏽

For water in thermos or baby’s formula idt they have limit as long as its for the baby and baby is with you. I brought 550 of hot water in thermos in my diaper bag.
