For those staying in Singapore. How do u guy's choose your gynae or your hospital? As we know SG having higher cost for delivery. Any comments on kkh? Thank you

I choose a reputable gynae altot pay more but it's make me feel much better and I feel the money is worth it.

husband has many female friends, is that normal?

My husband has many female friends. Actually, I've been aware of this since we were dating before marriage. He's genuinely kind, so many girls feel comfortable being friends with him. Initially, I didn't mind and even found it cute. However, as we entered the third year of our marriage, I started feeling somewhat disturbed... especially when he went out to hang out with his friends and they didn't allow him to invite me. I have to admit, his friends aren't very friendly towards me. They barely greeted me on my birthday. I don't like it, and I want my husband to stop being friends with them... am I being overdramatic?

wellbub mummies meet up

hello mummies! was wondering if any mums have tried going for mummy meet ups under the wellbub community? been really interested to try meeting other mummies through their monthly meet up sessions but cant seem to bring myself to go… really scared that i cant fit in and would be judged :/ would love to know if anyone knows the community well or if anyone has tried attending any events with other mummies! or anything regarding meeting with other mummies/parents :) i would love to hang out with other mummies like myself as my social circle has taken a dip :(

Hi there mummy, Hope you’re well and having a wonderful time with your Little one(LO).You know as tiring as it seems as the moment your LO will only need your full attentions hugs/carrying until they are 3yo. And then they will go to childcare meeting new friends. Is not very long so do cherish that ya☺️. Some suggestions on new social connections: 1. Telegram/WhatsApp ground for mummy. Available on the top link in this app. 2. If you’re a introverted person(like me🫣), you can join talks/conference provided by KKH/NUH for mummies and daddies. You could sign up on their websites. This allows you to get more knowledge on caring for your LO in the same time know new mummies around. 3. Spend more time with your family members(spouse/parents/sibling). Building more channels for help in the future😬. In case you need more rest, your parents are good outsource channel😝. 4. Go for a short holiday with your spouse and LO , Msia also a good place(engaging private cars to go over). This could help you have a some enjoyment and aways from 4walls of the house. (Personally, i’ve travel more than 3 country when my LO is between 10months -1 yo), yes is tiring. However, daddy and mommy get to enjoy their time too(especially when LO is sleeping😉✌🏻-have a drink with your spouse in your hotel room balcony etc.) Remember good relationship stays, people comes and goes in our life. Perhaps focus what matters and those who are receptive to your care and love😊. Take care.

Why my period not coming back though I stopped Breastfeeding for 3 months (4mths pp)

Why is my period not back yet though I’ve already stopped Breastfeeding for 3months now? I’m currently 4months pp and I read that usually period would have returned. :( I just used pregnancy test kit to test and it was negative. I went to see my gynae earlier last month and he asked me to monitor for 6 months. What is wrong with me?

Hi there mummy, I have to agreed with your gynea certain ladies does take longer to gain back their mensus after stop breastfeeding. As our hormones are regulating back. According to my gynea, it takes 6months to recover our uterus(ready for another pregnancy) , more than a year to recover our hormones. Personally i got my mensus back about 5months into stopping breastfeeding. Certain of my girl friends took longer. Main things is take it easy on yourself, don’t stress. Exercise , drink more water, take folic acid if you plan to conceive again to keep your body ready. Please take care.

Drink more water and rest. It takes awhile to recover but don't worry abt it

I am 28m PP, usually numbness comes and go but the numbness stayed for an entire day till now (both hands). Anyone experienced similar and what did you do to get rid of the numbness?

I experienced hand numbness postpartum too, mummy 😭 Mine was worse at night and sometimes lasted most of the day. My doctor said it could be related to fluid retention, nerves, or all the baby carrying and feeding positions. What helped me was stretching my wrists and hands regularly and being mindful of my posture. Since yours is affecting both hands and has lasted all day, I'd get it checked if it doesn't improve soon ❤️

Do you still continue to take your prenatal vits like the calcium tablets, omega capsules, etc. After you've given birth?

yes. impt to continue especially if you're breastfeeding. no need for dha post birth.

Any mummies will still drink alcohol during breastfeeding journey? There was once i drink half can of beer and 3 hrs ltr need to express milk. Felt guilty that will my babies safe to drink the expressed milk?
