which trimester was your appetite the best?

At which trimester was your appetite the best ? Seems like 3rd trimester, wont eat so much as baby occupy much of the space. But it doesnt seem like it for me, as i ate most during 3rd trimester. And i can eat quite alot.

Definitely 2nd trimester for me. Now entering into third trimester, start to vomit again if ate anything too oily or too full. Can’t eat a lot since the start of third trimester.

Extra tummy fat

LO turned 1 and the PD suggested that we switch to fresh cow's milk or UHT instead of FM as FM has more sugar. Anyone has made the switch? And how did you go about arranging using fresh milk as compared to giving FM powder when going to IFC?

Quite common for paedias to recommend switching to full cream cow's milk after age 1 if your little one is growing well and eating a balanced diet 😊 If your child has been on formula for a while, a gradual transition can help. Some parents start by mixing a little cow's milk with formula and slowly increasing the amount over a week or two. For childcare, many centres are able to store and serve cow's milk during milk feeds, so it usually just comes down to following the centre's requirements for bringing it in. Most toddlers adjust surprisingly well once they get used to the new taste! 💛

Recurring milk blebs

I’ve been having recurring milk blebs for 2-3 weeks now. Everytime I pop it, it grows back again. I’ve tried soaking in Epsom salt, poking with sterilised needle etc and none of it works. Any mummies have solution that works please? 😭 thank you

Oh no, that sounds really frustrating 😞 If it's been recurring for 2-3 weeks despite soaking and popping it, it might be worth seeing a lactation consultant or doctor. Sometimes a milk bleb can be linked to an underlying blocked duct, and repeatedly poking it can irritate the skin or increase the risk of infection. Warm compresses before feeds, continuing to nurse or pump as usual, and ensuring the breast is well drained may help. But if it's the same spot coming back over and over, I'd get it checked rather than keep trying to pop it yourself. Hope you get some relief soon!
