KK or Thomson - for foreigner's baby delivery ?
We are foreigners living in Singapore (Not drawing a big fat salary). My company doesn't cover maternity insurance for my wife. We have been doing our monthly checkups at KK until 8th month of pregnancy. But for delivery some friends are suggesting that KK bills can be very expensive for Foreigners baby delivery. And some say that Thomson is better for foreigners who don't have insurance coverage. If the treatment, care for baby and mother, etc are same between these 2 hospitals, then can any of you advise about which hospital is better cost wise. Approximately how much would be the bill for Foreigner's normal delivery ? We are very confused about which hospital is cost effective. Please advise

Family/expecting/house
Pregnant for the 2nd time after giving birth to my 1st a year ago. Didnt had a good r/s with my parents, depended on my husband & his family. Right now im still in the process of getting a new house, thinking of renting thru HDB also bcos we’re still under our parents roof plus my brother & his wife is expecting their son in 3 more months! I am a full time working mom, my 1st child is often with my MIL so i can juggle work & pregnancy esp with the ongoing morning sickness! Right now waiting patiently for HDB. Meanwhile, id like for you to share if uve went thru a similar milestone or how do u cope with family issues esp when ur expecting. Thank you~ (:

Sleep trainings by letting LO cry until they sleep themselves
Hi I’ve heard of parents sleep training their LO by letting them cry if they wake up in the middle of the night until they sleep themselves... but I also read in articles from experts saying we shouldn’t ignore a baby crying as this might build up insecurity to baby. I’m abit confuse as to what works cos I’ve been following the expert and it seems now the baby know how to use crying to get attention every time.. he is 11 months old. Any sharing views and experience on this?

Not allowing husband to bring infant out alone during weekende
I am a full time working mum while my husband is a SAHD. During weekdays I am busy with work and weekends are the only time I bond with my baby. My baby is on breastmilk and we direct latch during weekends as well. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, my husband's friends organised gathering but the max no of visitors is 5. My husband wanted to bring baby alone for the outing (without me) due to the restrictions in number of visitors. I refused and my husband got angry. Is it reasonably for me to not allow him to bring baby alone? I just want to spend more time during weekends with my baby and let him latch. Did I do anything wrong?
Fathers love - how is your love different for your daughter vs your wife?
Is it a same type of love? Do parents regardless of gender love their kids the same way?
