For those who already have children and decided to get a vasectomy afterwards, do you have any regre

My partner and I already have children, and we've been discussing permanent birth control now that we feel our family is complete. We've been considering a vasectomy, but it's still a big decision, especially knowing that it's intended to be permanent. For those who have gone through with it after having children, how has your experience been? Have you ever found yourself regretting the decision, or are you still happy with it years later? How did you know it was the right time to move forward? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences or any advice before we make a final decision. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Same here! My husband and I have been looking into a vasectomy too. He doesn't want me to keep going on birth control anymore, and honestly, we're already really happy and content with our two kids. It just feels like the right next step for us, but we're still interested in hearing about other people's experiences before making the final decision.

My husband always says he agrees with everything I say... right after I've already repeated myself three times lah. A few of the dads in our parent group are the same, very sporting to admit it though, which I think is actually quite sweet.

My husband would 100% agree with whatever this is saying, and I know because a few of my mum friends always say their husbands are exactly the same way. We were just talking about this at the playground last weekend and all the dads had the same reaction, so you are definitely not alone here! Tag your husband and see what he says lah.

has anyone had any experience using this implant ? if yes can share ur experience as i am considering it but not sure yet ... #pleasehelp #advicepls

Oh, I totally understand the hesitation because it is such a big decision and it is normal to feel unsure about it. My friend actually tried the implant after her second child and she said the insertion was quick and mostly painless, and she found it really convenient not having to remember a daily pill. She did mention her periods became irregular for the first few months but after that her body settled and she was happy with it overall. I would say chat with your gynae or even your polyclinic doctor first so they can go through your medical history and see if it suits you lah. You are definitely not the only mum weighing up this option, so ask away here if you have more questions.
