6 months old baby did not want to drink milk

My 6 months old baby did not want to drink milk. I tried every ways but still the same. So exhausted so tiring. Thinking on how to make her drink milk. She do not want to even eat. Can anyone assist me. I do not know what type of formula milk to get for her.

it’s probably just a developmental phase, milk strike is normal. will pass soon

Travelling with baby on public transport

Hi mums, how do you travel alone with your babies on public transport? In the below scenarios, would it be better to use a baby carrier (baby-wearing) or bring a pram? I don’t know how easy is it to lift baby out of the pram, carry him/her while collapsing the pram into a folded state and lugging it into the public transport or vehicle. 1) On the bus/MRT. Would baby wearing be more convenient than lugging a pram around by myself? 2) On private hire cars such as Grab. Is it necessary to book a car with a baby seat? Because I’m also worried about how clean the baby seat will be, on a private hire vehicle. Possible to baby-wear on the ride? Also what is the feasibility of carrying baby while collapsing the pram and storing it in the car boot by myself? First time mum here, and my bundle of joy hasn’t arrived yet, so I’m just trying to anticipate the logistics of bringing him/her out by myself, and noting what I need to buy, pram, baby-wearing carriers etc. Thank you!

I think when baby is in the newborn stage, can use baby carrier instead as collapsing the stroller would be a problem especially if you are carrying a lot of things and lifting the stroller up and down may not be good for your recovering body. As for private hires, even with booster rides, they do not provide baby seats for less than a year old. Have to bring ur own. So best to download the comfort delgro app to ease booking taxis instead as they do not require baby seats. Suggest to wait for newborn to be out before deciding whether to get a stroller so early. I ended up not using the stroller (baby is around 3-4 weeks old now) as it is very troublesome and heavy.

Recommendations for Showrooms or Dept Store to view baby items?

Hi mums, would like to seek advice on where are the physical shops/ showrooms or departmental stores where you go to view or purchase baby items? My husband and I would prefer to view the actual products before we buy, and while we are ok with shopping online, we would like to go to a physical shop with a good range of baby items from prams, car seats, cots to bouncers and all these items needed for a new baby. Would be grateful if you all could suggest some places, as we are first time parents and totally clueless 😅 Thank you! #advicepls #pleasehelp #firstbaby

Differentiate day and night baby

My newborn was able to sleep at night time and fussy in the afternoon. However now (3 weeks old) it seems she think night is the day and day is night. She has been sleepin more soundly in the day. At night she doesn’t really want to sleep. Any mummies have some issue?

What I can say, sometimes it’s a phase. My baby used to be able to self soothed and fell asleep at night before 10pm. Now she’s 5months old and we need to pat her and hold her and most of the time, she sleeps at 12am 🥹

Is sending baby to infant care a good idea? Currently I'm a stay home mum but I'm thinking of sending my baby to infant care soon so that I'll havr more time to rest or look for a job.

Yes, it’s a great idea. The baby can learn skills at the ifc which we as parents may not be that competent to impart.

Shampoo and Baby Bath

Dear parents, may i know which brand on Shampoo and Baby Bath are you all using? Having difficulty to choose and select. I am thinking of Johnson & Johnson, Kodomo or Pigeon. Saw on other forum that J&J are causing dry skin for baby is that true ? Thank for advising.

Can jaundice goes up within 3 months?

First time hearing this. Was being asked to suntan baby for 3 months and on the light at night even tho jaundice level has lowered down to 111. Anyone experienced it?

Lines on the bb forehead.

Hi, mommies. May I know will this lines on my bb forehead go away? What causes it? Thank you.

Forehead lines on babies are usually just from their facial expressions and the skin being so thin and soft at that age. My girl had the same thing when she was a newborn, and they faded on their own as she grew and her skin filled out more leh. It could also just be from how they were positioned in the womb, so there is not much to worry about. That said, if the lines look deep or you notice other things that concern you, a quick check with your PD will put your mind at ease.
