Baby don’t burp after feeding

What to do if baby still doesnt burp after feeding? Do i continue to keep burping him or can lay baby sideways or ? Usually max how many minutes do you try to burp them ? And also do you keep them swaddled when burping? #FTM

I don’t burp baby after feeding. I keep baby in whatever feeding position she’s in for 5-10 mins then start burping. If after burping for 10 mins still no burp I just lay baby back to bed, awhile later I put her in tummy time position then she will burp on her own. Nope, didn’t swaddle while burping.

Uv sterilise & wash pacifier

Do i always need to wash & uv sterilize baby’s steriliser? Or only wash if it falls on the floor or something

I’m using steam steriliser. I wash and sterilise baby bottles after each use.

Kkh baby circumcision

Anyone did circumcision for their baby at kkh? Roughly how long is the waiting time to get appointment and how much ? Can claim medisave ?

Yes, you can use Medisave for the circumcision at KKH, but only if it's done for medical reasons, the cap is around $650 from what I've heard, so depending on the ward type chosen, there may still be some out-of-pocket. My friend brought her son to KKH for it and said the waiting time was a few weeks, not too bad, but it can vary depending on how busy the department is at that point. The trade-off is that KKH gives you that peace of mind with the specialist setup, though some parents do find the whole subsidy and Medisave eligibility process a bit more paperwork than expected. Worth calling their appointments line directly to ask about current waiting time and to confirm whether your baby's case qualifies as medical, that part really determines how much Medisave kicks in.

Baby tummy time

Tummy time is after or before feeding? And what is the gap (how many mins) before or after feeding? I read online to do after feeding. But then lets say baby wake up 1pm to eat then eat+burp one hour so it is 2pm. Then after feeding my bb always want to sleep😂 so no chance to do tummy time. If i am in luck i can do it after her shower only.

My baby does tummy time when there’s some spare time before the next feeding, or at least 1.5hr after feeding.

Teething (7 months old)

Hello mummies , anyone experience your LO teething and refuse to drink milk? Or maybe drink 20ml-30ml of milk and cry (do not want to drink the rest) ? SUPER Cranky... Afraid that my LO will go hungry 😭 what should i do? 🥲

yes milk strikes are normal.. it’s a phase and will pass. more to come too

daytime naps

hello mummies, how long do you let your babies nap in the daytime? any tips on what to do during wake periods? #advicepls

Wake periods = face to face interactions, house tour with explanation 🤣, take pictures of baby, gradually introduce toys. When my baby is 4 months old, we introduced her to babysitter Ms Rachel on YouTube 🤣🤣 she loves watching it and we would carry her on a hip seat and dance to the songs

Baby drink lesser milk

Lo just turned a month but noticed she sleeps more and feed less. Example the day before she drink 100ml per feeding then today mixture of 20,60,100 ml per feeding Should i be worried? No longer consistent like past 3 weeks She appears to be okay though; but worried parent here especially when she only drink 20ml and go back to sleep

I would carry her for feeling, but without waking her up. Continue to carry her for 5~10mins after feeding instead of burping.
