What kind of bibs to bring to ifc

My 2 months old baby will be starting infant care next month. They gave us list of things to bring, which includes bib. Just want to know mummies out there do you use the U shape bib or the V shape bib? Cause at home we usually only use burp cloth, rarely bibs.

Baby sucking fingers

My baby is coming to 8 weeks old and past 2 weeks or so he has learned how to bring his hand/fingers to his mouth and love sucking it everynow and then. It looks cute like he’s self soothing when theres no pacifier in his mouth. Is this considered a “milestone” or should i prevent him from sucking his fingers/hand?

I didn’t prevent mine. Just make sure the nails are short.

Baby carrier after csect

Those that went thru csect, at how many weeks or months did you start wearing baby carrier? Be it konny baby or ergobaby. I am 7 weeks PP. My 2 months old is 5kg+ and my first time using ergobaby out. After awhile of using the carrier some parts of my incision kind of hurts ? But not intense. Is it normal. #firstbaby #firstmom

Huggies airsoft

Any mummies using huggies airsoft for their baby and how is it ? I just went to JB today. Aside from naturemade, most of their stores selling airsoft version and i bought 2 packs. Wonder if its good, almost comparable to naturemade ? Any poop leak and does it smell pee ?

My friend actually tried the Airsoft version when she stocked up from JB and said it was decent for the price, no major poop leaks and the wetness indicator was still helpful, though she felt the fit was slightly less snug than Naturemade around the thighs lah. It is a reasonable option if you are watching your budget, just maybe test one pack first before buying in bulk to see how your baby's skin takes to it.

Going JB with newborn

Any mummies ever went to JB with their newborn and how is it ? Especially during jam. Thought of going to stock up baby stuff but a little scared esp the long jam.

I won’t want my baby that young to get stuck in a jam. I will get my husband to buy those stuff.

3months old poop frequency

Is this normal that baby poop more often on formula? Bb is 3m and suddenly poop 4 times a day

Yup there are days when my baby poops more than other days as long as its not watery or hard

Confinement Nanny or Confinement centre?

Contemplating between Nanny or going to centre. Any suggestions which will be better and what's the pros and cons? #advicepls

I would choose confinement nanny because I want to let baby get used to the home environment and also in my own home, the nanny can use the existing resources/appliances/ baby stuff/ cookware to train me how to take care of baby. there may also be 'hidden costs ' if you stay at confinement centre. it's just safer at home, my opinion.

Philips Avent Bottle Teat

Hello Mummies , would like to know as your LO grows , what bottle teats do you use as No 5 teat for Avent discontinued. My LO is currently 9 months old i'm still using No 4 teat 😅 and at which age do you let your LO not drink milk from milk bottle? Any bottle or cup recommendation?

I bought Y flow but my LO doesn’t like so I’m still using size 4 (she’s 23mo).

Konny baby sizing guide

Those using konny baby, can help me ? I know theres a size guide on their website but im scared its inaccurate. Im standing at 156cm, weighing at 52.6kg, should i get S or M ?
