What do the babies sleep on in infantcare centres and what is the teacher to infant ratio? What if your baby is incredibly fussy. How will the teacher handle it?

What should I consider when sending my girl to infant care? She'll start on 2nd Feb, and will be 4.5mths then. She's now on full breastmilk. I'll be meeting her infant care teacher tomorrow. Can anyone can share your experiences as well, so I can be aware of the possibilities.

Is it okay to breastfeed (direct latch) baby when I'm sick? I feel like I'm coming down with the flu :(

I hv 3 daughters, 5yr, 3yr & 6weeks oldo. Just finished 28 day confinement recently but came down with tonsillitis almost immediately after. It's almost 2 weeks now & I still have recurring tonsillitis. I have seen the GP 3 times and he prescribe 5day antibiotics... Starting with Augmentin to Augmentin+Klacid for the subsequent 2visits. I am breastfeeding. Is it really safe to take so much antibiotics? Will it weaken my baby's immunity against bacteria in future? Any advise on how to break free fr this vicious cycle?

My confinement is ending soon n will be on night duty then. I will do the full latch on feed but would like to find out do mummies still pump after latch? Normally my baby will fall asleep after feeding on 1 side. Do I force her to wake up by disturbing her and feed her the other side?

Can I know what are the food/drinks to take and not to take when breastfeeding/confinement? Is it true that i cant take milk coz the baby might have an allergic reaction to dairy?

Is it normal to shiver when you're sleeping during confinement? My aircon is on at 25 deg, I wear sweatpants to sleep, cover with comforter till neck and yet, I still shiver when I sleep. Anyway to cure this?

Asking for a friend: My EDD is Dec 16 and I'm planning to get confinement catering but I saw that the menu has lots of pig liver. I googled and found that breastfeeding mums are not allowed to eat any kind of liver. So which one is the right way?

Does anyone encounter problem of not being able to sleep during confinement period for day and night? I also feel very hot even though the aircon and fan is on? What is going on?
