Ever since becoming a mom, I literally feel like I have no me time. I don't even have time to go for a manicure anymore. Is this complete lack of extra time normal?

Welcome to motherhood! When you are like Beyonce for your kid except beyonce have her personal beauty assistant :) For some early time, yes, i feel i have no time for myself and my baby is a huge distraction for me to do what i want. But time will answer and teach you, you will learn the art of multi tasking and how to be a ninja (sneak to do something for yourself when your baby fell asleep). I personally can put my make up when breastfeeding my baby. Mummy's rock!

what toys should I buy in advance for my 3 mths old? not to say that I'm kiasu but I prefer to buy stuffs in one go rather than to buy a bit of here and there.. besides I don't really go shopping that often since I'm a sahm.. am going to e baby fair this wkend so hope to buy whatever I need for maybe e next 6 mths uses..

A child with HFMD may suffer from some of these common signs and symptoms: Fever Sore throat Mouth ulcers on the inside of the mouth or sides of the tongue Rash (flat or raised spots) or small blisters on palms of hands, soles of feet, and/or buttocks Lethargy Poor appetite Having said that, you might want to bring your child to the doctor for a check to ascertain. it will be painful for the child to eat or swallow food or liquid due to the ulcers.

My LO developed a small swell at the corner of her eye. Wasn't there this morning but just developed over the day... It can't be an insect bite as we were carrying her the whole day.. Is it a cause for concern?

Can't really see which part is swollen from the picture. Could it be a blocked tear duct? Or an allergy to pollen or dander? Best to go to the doctor for an affirmative answer. In the meantime, you can place a damp, cool washcloth on your baby's closed eyes to help reduce swelling.

my 14mths lo have been in the 25 percentile 3mths till now. everyone think he's small in size..as a mum wld like him to grow stronger n bigger.. any food to recommend which can help to put on more fats on him?

he's fine with adding into porridge :) but how much to add?

You can use this baby food tray. Many of the mummies are using this. http://www.pupsikstudio.com/oxo-tot-baby-food-freezer-tray.html There are some mummies using the ice cube tray with lids from daiso. I am using this too. It can be easily popped out.

Hi! My baby is now 3mths old..I'm beginning to read up on the options when it comes to introducing solids..what are the pros and cons in giving purees? Or should I opt for baby led weaning? How do I get started with either one? Thanks!

My friends who are working full-time found that it was easier to start with purees because they can prepare and freeze those wayyy in advance. What some of them have done is to mix-match the two. They start with purees on the weekdays and introduce soft solids like peaches, oranges etc for the weekends.
