Is this HFMD? Urgent.

Both my kids got hfmd last month. My elder girl got it first and was denied to attend school. The teacher spotted a spot in my girl's mouth.(Same as the pic). She got some rash on her buttocks that's all. Her hfmd was mild, no fever , no sore throat, her appetite was normal. It almost went unnoticed, but I just kept her at home without seeing a doctor because I didn't think it was hfmd. Then after, my younger son got the hfmd. His condition was obvious, he got rash all over his body even on his palms n feet. This time, I brought both my kids to the doctor to verify. Both my kids didn't have fever or sore throat. They were not lethargic nor they have poor appetite. They only have rash. Why I want to say is,if you suspect it's hfmd, it is better to bring your child to verify with the doctor, for a peace of mind.

It is best to bring your child to the doctor for a proper diagnosis. This virus is highly contagious and your child should limit contact with others to prevent others from contracting it. You can also get it from your child if he/she is indeed having it. Practice good hygiene in the meantime to minimize the spreading to others in the family. Take care!!
