Hi jus to check , Bellamy formula milk has no DHA content .. So if I'm going to feed my ️baby this brand of milk, does it mean I need to supplement his diet with DHA fish oil drops ?

According to Bellamy's fb page their formulas have enough polyunsaturated fats for healthy development and that it is against the organic certification to add omega fats from any source including fish. Plus the extraction process to obtain these oils uses nasty solvents which is also against their regulations. I don't think you need to supplement with DHA - but best to speak to your PD.

How to coax ur 7wks old LO To sleep? he's on FM or EBM.. when I tried to latch, he will play "tug of war" with me, so nursing him to sleep isn't possible.. spending almost an hour after feed to coax him to sleep..

anyone try to fly with a 2 months old baby alone? what's your tips?

Always be ready, pre pack extra clothings, diapers and milk.

Hi Mommies, my baby is turning 6 months this June and will be starting to eat solids. May I know what are the do's and don'ts in feeding my baby and what fruits/veggies do I give him?

Just to add on, you can consider starting the process by mixing small amounts of mashed vegetables or fruits or cereal with breast milk. This may help baby to get used to the idea of having solids. Some things to note would be to not have any salt and sugar in the food. Also, cow milk should only be introduced after the baby is past one year old.

Is it ok to travel with a 7week old baby out of town? What essentials should I bring?

Yes, plenty of babies travel at that age, make sure they are healthy though because dealing with a sick baby while travelling would not be too good an idea. My friend based in Europe flew back to Singapore with her 6 week old and 3 year old toddler to visit her parents. She was sure to pack lots of diapers and a few clean sets of clothes in her cabin bag in case of any diaper accidents on board. She was breastfeeding then so she made sure the airline she flew with had no issues with that and chose a window seat so that she can get some privacy while breastfeeding. The flight attendants are usually more attentive with parents travelling with young children. She didn't bring too many things especially bulky items like strollers and prams because her parents had those prepared for her in Singapore but you should consider bringing one along if you don't want to carry baby while having to lug around huge bags and luggages.

Sleeping issues

My baby is reaching 5 months. He started to have sleep regression around 3.5 months when he was learning how to flip. Now he can flip well but still wakes up a few times at night. I co-sleep with him and nurse him to sleep as I have work the next day and this is the easiest agreement. Will this arrangement be undesirable as he may associate sleep with nursing and still can't fall asleep on his own? He may also be accustomed to co-sleep and refuse to sleep on his own in the future. When will he be able to sleep throughout the night? Should I train him to fall asleep on his own?

Mummy, don't introduce too many changes at one go. Nursing while sleeping is great bonding. Baby is only 5 mths old, he might be experiencing grow spurts along the way. Identify which one u want to change first; nursing to sleep or co sleeping. A sudden change will trigger another issue. My children are still co sleeping with us and we are comfortable with it. Children will grow out of it in future.

I am not sure what makes my 3month baby fussy after bath. He enjoys bathing but when I start putting clothes on him he used to cry loudly.

Mine was like that. Normally, i will standby a bottle of milk, I suspect he used up lots of energy playing in the bathroom. Lol. So far, the one bottle of milk does help.
