My son been having this since past few weeks, according to doctor and relatives it is normal due to heat. Is it true? Tried dipping cotton ball into warm water to clean it but still the same. And it's only on the left side of the eye. Any other remedy to cure it?

Maybe get another doctor's opinion? It doesn't look like it could be just due to the weather. Maybe a blocked tear duct?!

Is it normal for a 9wks BB to drink 210 - 240ml every 3hrs?

That's quite a lot. How Long has she been drinking this amount for? My baby drank 120 ml when she was 9 weeks

My baby likes to play with hair. Both mine and hers. She pulls it, twirls it and enjoys running her fingers thru hair. Is this normal?

Yes.. I guess baby is trying to grab things.. My son pulls his hair and mine when he wants to sleep .. Just gently tell him not to. He will understand

how old onwards do you wean baby off mid-of-the-night feedings? my bb is now coming to 6months old in a few days. she still waking up for night feeds 1~2 times

Keep repeating the word in front of her. When we talk, our babies are actually listening and absorbing the words!

I do baby-led weaning with my 9 mo. frequently i find 1 or 2 pieces of food still in his mouth long after his eating session (e.g. at night when i brush his teeth). i usually do not take it out cos i know it will be gone. he doesn't spit it out also. my worry is that he will choke at night if he falls asleep with it still in the mouth. will this happen? shld i take it out by bedtime? any advice from babyled weaning experts?

What I learnt from a course is the squeeze baby's cheeks when he/she is done with his/her meal!

Mummies how much milk should a 6 mth baby drink? How much water? Recently baby screams and arches back while crying, is that normal?

By 6 months, the amount at each feeding should have increased to 6 or 8 oz but the frequency he or she needs would have dropped to 4 or 5 times a day. As for water, you can give your 6 month old baby sips of water whenever he or she is thirsty.

recently my girl starts to scream and make a lot of noise, so that I will carry her. lately when she zzz she will suddenly scream. she will raised both her legs up. she will turn her head left to right and right to left a few times before going back to zzz again. what's the reason for all these Behaviour. LO turning 5months in a few days. turning of her head could be fighting sleep. That's all I can assume. do let me have ur views besides sleep fighting. thanks.

Sounds like sleep regression. Normal, it will eventually go away.

is it okay to brush my face with makeup (bb cream) against my LO face? will his skin be sensitive to my makeup?
