How can I encourage my baby to crawl? He is 8m and seems to have a very passive personality. If his toys are out of reach, he will try to extend his hands to reach but if cant he will just settle without them. tried all mthds to put his fave toys nearer/ further away and not pick out toys for him but none works. He also doesn't pass objects from hand to hand & dislike holding on objects. the only thing he can hold really well is his milk bottles during feeds. Any one face similar situation too? The pd doesn't seems very worried about it but I am!

Just place a variety of objects to see what catches his interest .. maybe u can also demo with him how to crawl thru play.. kids pick up rather fast

what will happen to baby's BCG wound if being poke? my #2 is turning 5 mths, and my mum let me know after she poke it :(

Try to keep the area clean and dry. Don't place a plaster over it. You can call up your PD to check if it "looks" normal and whether there is anything you need to do about it.

My baby just started walking. We're looking to buy proper shoes for her. Shoes that will not cause her to have blisters etc. Stride rite or clarks? Why? You're welcome to intro other brands to us too :)

If you baby just started to walk you can consider get her cloth shoe that the sole is soft and won't harm her sole.

Any recommendations for diaper cream that is not to thick/heavy? I'm using California baby for usual use but thinking of getting something even lighter than that? Thanks in advance!

How often do you bathe your baby? Mines 5-months old now. And do you soap/shampoo every time? Lotion after every bath?

I bath her twice a day.. one morning one 4+ 5pm but how she is on soild food I wash her abt 3 time morm noon n evening to wash off the mess of her food.. I been using stiefel physiogel cleanser ..tis is a hypoallergenic non comedogenic soap free clearer..

Kids safety

Just to check is it safe to apply those itchy ointment (e.g. mopiko) to baby for insect or mozzie bites? What other recommendation to ease the itchiness ? My baby is 2 month+ .

I use jojoba aloe gel from Watson which is pretty safe to use. or the Paw Paw ointment will be good too

my three mths old playing with rattle. will try to eat on anything she grabs. hehe.. i think only do it when she is hungry
