How can I encourage my 9.5m baby to hold objects with both hands? I tried to let him hold his fave toys but he always resist and let go when I release my hands. He only play with one hand, either left or right depending. He is v laid back, not interested in toys and still can't crawl. Sits well and stands w light support. Any has heard of baby as lazy like him? Is this normal?

I would not say the baby is lazy. Babies do not know what being lazy is. It could be due to other factors. Give him time. And keep encouraging him. More exposure maybe helpful.

Am contemplating to buy a jumperoo for my LO who is turning 5 months. Was searching online and found that fisher price seems to be widely used. However there are so many types available, I.e. Rainforest/zoo/discover and grow/laugh and learn etc. How do you choose from all these choices? They all look pretty similar to me..

My child is 1 1/2 years old, and he does not speak anything. Do I need to worry?

Every child is different & have different pace in hitting their milestones so you should not compare with other child. However, you should speak more to your child by reading storybooks daily or sing to your child or talk to your child about the things in your daily life. Your child will gradually pick up language in time to come

Mummies, what type of clothes does your lo wear in the day (if they spend most of their time in aircon room, 25degree) and when they go out to shopping centres? I'm constantly dressing my long sleeve and long pants with mittens and socks on as I'm afraid the ambience temperature would be too cold for them. Not sure if I'm over-wearing my lo. She is 3 months old currently. Btw, for onesies, are they meant to be worn just like that, or should they wear a pair of shorts or pants over?

For onsies, most of my friends usually have a pair of pants or shorts over it when going out. At home, baby would just be in their onsies.

Lo will be 6th mth soon and he is fully formula...will be bringing him for a short trip...what brand of drinking water can i buy to bring along?

I used any mineral water, as Long as it was sealed and then boiled it to mix with her formula

My 5mth lo fully formula fed had not poo for almost 3 days, should i bring him to see doc?

It's normal. My lo didn't poop for 5-6 days when she's on formula.

May i know which thermometer is best for babies? I have the braun in ear thermometer, but can't seem to go into my girl's ear and turn out not accurate. She's 6 month old. Is a forehead scanning thermometer better?

I'm using the Braun and never had an issue with it.

My 4-year old cracked her front teeth when she is at the playground. Pls advice if I should bring her to the dentist. And if dentist says need to extract, can I say no?

4 years old with a cracked tooth if need to extract I would say no provided it doesn't affect my child. I would rather the milk teeth fall out on its own.

Does your LO make a lot of sound when sleeping? Is it normal?

I think it's normal. Mine stretch, laugh, cry, snore.
