Recently I heard a saying of babies will sleep through the night at 4 months onwards. If after 4 months and they still wake up for milk, it is already a habit and hard to break this habit. How true it is? My boy who is 11 months old still wakes up 1-2 times every night and I truly believe my boy will eventually sleep through the night when the time comes.. Appreciate you can share your experience when your LO STTN?

Anyone heard of craniosynostosis this medical term?

From just looking at the word, the "cranio" portion could suggest that it has something to do with the head. True enough, a quick Google search turned out the following definition: "Craniosynostosis (kray-nee-o-sin-os-TOE-sis) is a birth defect in which one or more of the joints between the bones of your baby's skull close prematurely, before your baby's brain is fully formed." This will lead to baby being born with an abnormally shaped skull :(

Anybody's 5mth old LO screams all the time? Recently it seems like my girl screams and screams instead of blabbering. And her shrieks are piercing and almost as though her voice was breaking. Any idea how to stop that? Scolding her or showing disapproval didn't work.

My LO scream non stop when she's 5 months old too. It's just a phase.

My 9month old LO had hard dry poop for 2days. Think she might eat too much sweet potato. If she get constipation? How to relief?

I was down with minor bronchitis last week. On Monday, all 3 of my kids got the virus from me and started high fever. My eldest child 4.5yo been vomitting since Tuesday morning. I think it is mostly cause of the phlegm. Tdy is the 3rd day she is still vomitting on & off. I did see mostly she vomit is phlegm but an hr ago she started vomitting greenish yellow substance. I'm not sure if it is phlegm/mucus or bile. Should I be worried if it is bile? Attached is a photo of her vomit with the substance on wet wipes. *Brought them all to doctor on Tuesday noon and was told to monitor for 3 days and if fever still persists, to bring back and start on antibiotics. *

May be mucus or phlegm. I think best to follow the doctor's recommendations for now and monitor the situation. In the meantime, ensure that they are getting plenty of fluids and rest. Take care of yourself too!! Must be challenging since you are recovering as well.

When can I let baby fully learn how to swim? What if they start drinking pool water??

Care to share which type of baby detergent you all are using? Do you mummies hand wash or throw all the clothes into washing machine separated from adult clothes? Can use softlen together with baby detergent or baby detergent is enough?

Persil sensitive detergent and also comfort ultra soft softener (diaper clothes are rough). If you have a higher budget can go for Kirkland or Tide or Method's "free and clear" - no fragrance no extra bleaching. So far it works fine for my sensitive skin bb

hi. my 15 day old girl used to drink 80ml ebm every 3 hrs. as my supply is not enough, I started giving her fm (nan h.a.) for night feeding yesterday. but both feeding she took only 30ml. I changed to ebm and she took 70ml. but this morning, she took only 40ml ebm again. is this a cause of concern?

Take it easy mummy. Pls don't keep switxhing from bm, to ebm or formula cos it will cause confusion for your baby. Baby also need somwtime to adapt to new taste and food. Give baby a mixture at the beginning then gradually more. Whether yhe milk ia suitable or not, we aren't sure too. Try a little quantity at a time.

This morning while changing my baby girl's diaper, I noticed that her genital is super red. Yesterday I let her try the Drypers Touch for the first time for about 4 hours then changed back to her Merries diaper before sleeping. After noticing that her genital is super red this morning I applied nappy rash cream and let her wear cloth nappy instead. But while changing her nappy again I noticed that there is slight abrasion. Has anyone encounter this before? Any suggestions?

Did you eat anything different that day? It happened to me once before and I realised it was probably cause of the diet I had (spicy Thai food).
