bottles and accessories to sterilise.

There's are so many bottles and accessories to sterilise. N my steriliser has limited storage. How do I keep those sterile bottles n accessories? Can I keep them In air tight container n leave it at room temperature? Or must I keep it in my steriliser? How do I know the bottles or accessories need to sterilise again, I mean how Long do they stay sterile out of the steriliser? And Isit necessary to sterilise every 2 hours despite not using it?

For me, i will leave it in the sterilizer until i need it again. There isn't a need to sterlise every 2 hours. Once a day during the night will do.

My elder daughter is 4.5 years old ..n she has a habit to suck her thumb since from her birth...how can i get rid from this habit..

Hi, I think distract her whenever she does that. Involve her in some activity or the other. Tell her how germs are going inside her and they would grow in her tummy. Sometimes, such gory details about the germs repulse kids and they correct their habit. I used tos uck thumb myself, and left it immediately when my mother scared me saying that your teeth will come out like that of an elephant if I continue to do so. Also, you can treat her if she doesn't suck thumb for a specified time. Eventually you can increase the time of her not sucking the thumb.

How to wash blueberries that is to be Fed to a 9 month old baby? I read that it's full of pesticides but no idea how to remove them without destroying the fruit. TIA

Baking soda does the trick. You can also peel off the skin. I always peel off the skin of all fruits even if they are organic.

LO usually poo twice a day average but for the past Two days there's no poo and only once today. LO is 9 mths old.. is there something wrong?

My lo 10mo have been having phelgm for almost a mth. Whenever she coughs i can hear the thick phelgmy sound. Prior to this she also gets a cold almost ev mth since she goes to the ifc. The med doesnt help with the phelgm so this round i only gave prospan and again it doesnt help. Just wondering if it is ok to have prolong cough w phelgm? As she seems ok but some of her coughs she will stick out her tongue like trying to catch her breath. Other than that she is all well and active and feeding well. Sometimes really worried she may get bronchitis....n worried i cant identify its symptoms
