Is it necessary to consume additional calcium supplements beside the postnatal (breastfeeding) supplements?Afraid bb taken away too much calcium from me while breastfeed.

The calcium recommendation for breastfeeding mothers is 1000 mg/per day, which is the same as pregnant women and all women between the ages of 18 and 50. A healthy diet would suffice, but if you wanted to take an extra supplement, it's okay too. Also, apparently, it's best to get your calcium through food instead of a vitamin supplement because your body will absorb it better.

my baby has been having yellowish green poop (looks a bit sticky too). it's less grainy and much more watery. should I be concerned? she's 4-month old, fully breastfed.

my lo just turned 2 mos yesterday and we're on ebf! :) yesterday I noticed he only poops once/day but urines's fine. He gets wet 4-5 nappies/ day. Is his pooping normal? And another question, about 3-4 days ago lo prefers sleep than feed, I wake him every after 2-3 hrs or so. Feeding time gets a little lesser too. Does that mean he gets lesser milk than the usual? I noticed today my breast is leaking which does not happen. I got worried that lo might not be getting enough milk. Though during his waking time he's playful and alert. Thank you! :)

If I remember correctly, when my baby was 2 mos, she takes breast milk and poops less which I believe is just normal.

Are there any foods that I can take that would make my baby sleepy naturally? Am a breastfeeding Mom and I really want baby to sleep thru the night . :)

my lo is 22 mo now . she still dont sleep through the night. try co sleeping and side latching so u wont be that extreme tired.

What does comfort latching means at night?

My baby is coming to 5 months. she only latches when we are outside. at home, she refuses to nurse and only takes the bottle. I'm a working mom and helper has been taking care of her while we are at work. I used to be able to latch her when I come back from work but recently she refuses to latch at home. but on weekends when we are out she does latch. Can some one tell me what went wrong?

Perhaps your supply is lower after work or you are not able to hold your baby comfortably as per usual after work because you are tired. I agree with Yuna, maybe you try to latch after a warm bathe or before bed when you are feeling more relaxed.
