Hi mummies any sleep training tips to share? I don't wish my boobs to be sleeping props. Found that some baby sleep Trainers in Singapore are very expensive. Can't afford that. Tried singing, rocking.. My supply is not enough for tanking her before she sleeps. Supply is 100-120ml every 3 hours. My baby refuse to use pacifier. She is 9 month old now. Any idea? TIA.

Have you tried cutting down on naps in the daytime. Keep baby as active as possible in the day and perhaps she will be tired by the time her bedtime rolls by. Another way is to make her sleep area as conducive as you can -- the lighting and temperature of the room will play a part too.

Does breastfeeding makes us sweat more excessively? i am already close to 7 months pp and i sweat easily.. even in cold aircon room.. it happens most of the time when I'm engaging a conversation with some one or when i started to panic or feel embarassed.... i felt so embarassed because my clothes under my armpit will be wet :(

I didn't encounter that but I generally perspire quite a bit at the underarm area. You may want to try using Perspirex, it's the most effective antiperspirant I've used so far. Apply it at night before going to sleep and it will last for about 5 days.

Is it safe to take vitamin c while breastfeeding? I have a bottle of vitamin c which contains rose hips as well.

Can we eat goji berries while breastfeeding? Bcoz i was reading online dat it is not ideal.. But we do eat them during confinement rite?

yes be careful of goji berries while pregnant AND breastfeeding so try and stay away from them, this is because of the presence of a biochemical compound known as betaine. This compound could cause miscarriage and hence, it is not recommended during pregnancy.

Hi Mommies, While buying nipple shields, how do I determine the right size for me？

Start with the 24 mm breastshields that were included with your pump (or the size determined by measuring your nipples). Center your nipple and gently hold the breastshield against your breast. Be careful to not press breastshields too hard against your breasts when pumping – this can block your milk ducts!

How do I maintain my bm supply while traveling overseas for 2 weeks without my baby ? LO is 6months plus..

You will have to pump during the trip. My friend who had to travel frequently tries to keep to the regular pumping schedule. Some days, when she has very packed schedule, she could only afford pumping in the morning, at lunch and in the night. A tip she shared was to have a hand pump (or hand expressing) and have short pumping session when she has any time to spare to help relieve any discomfort. Also, staying hydrated would help maintain the supply. Hope this helps!

My lil one is going to be 7 months old soon. I used to have more than enough as LO intake isnt high. 110ml per feedin IFC, about 3-4 bottles per day. Lately, I noticed a drop in supply. i wasn't as engorged as before, my pump output is lower. I've only let LO tried solid twice, avocado & carrot puree. I'm not sure why there's a drop of supply. at times i also feel that my milk is not fattening enough. LO is only about 3-10 percentile.. What should I do if my bf journey is ending. so far I've only given LO bm, do i have to give FM or any other alternative?
