Dear mummies.. I'm a first time bf-ing mum.. As I've started work, my mil will be taking care of my gal.. I've been pumping enough milk for her to bottle feed my daughter.. However, after a week, when i went over to stay over, I try to latch my daughter but she doesn't want to latch at all.. she totally reject my boobs and although she's very very hungry and keeps crying.. She doesn't want to latch on my boobs at all.. How can I get her to latch on and bottle feed at the same time?

hello, should I wear my breast pad if I'm going for a swim? I have been wearing breast pad since i gave birth & started breastfeeding. I'm afraid i will feel uncomfortable if i did not wear breast pad if I'm going swimming (actually im not exactly swimming, but bringing LO to the pool), but if i wear it and the breast pad is soak with water, isn't it going to be heavy & it won't stick too?

Mummies I been bf my girl, but sometime she will drink and drink and vomit.. This few days she been making the sound of vomit but not vomit .. Is she too full or because after her drink when she drink finish we carry her? She is 4 months old..

It could be a reflux. change a position to latch the baby.

Did any mummies here take the milkmaid tea to boost milk supply? Is it effective or any side effect( like cause any harm to baby )?

My supply dropped drastically at 9 months. Any mummies experiences the same thing? Anyway to boast back the supply? Thanks!!!

Also, make sure that you are eating well, drinking enough and getting ample rest. Adding an additional pump session may help. Trying some milk booster (effectiveness differs for every woman) like fenugreek, oatmeal, salmon, milo (just to name a few) may help as well. Take care! Hope you can successfully bring up your supply again! :)

How to wean baby off BM and switch to FM?

Yes, slowly. Try to feed one feed BM, one feed FM. Then slowly more FM feeds, & lesser BM feeds, till baby finally get use to FM & wean off.

My baby girl is going to be 9 months old on the 8 of July. She used to be able to take 1.5 to 2 hours nap in the after late morning so that I can catch up my housework. Recently, she only sleep when I nurse her but she wake up within minutes after I lay her on bed. I dont mind nursing her to sleep at all but I need to do housework and prepared dinner for my elder child and she needs her naps. I babywearing her too but she will nap for a while and want to nurse again (she only want nursing in lying down position and wont take them unless I lay down with her). Once she's alseep, I will find my way away but she will wakes up within 10 minutes again. The cycle just keep continue. Please help!!

how long have this been ? i remember mine being like this for a period of time when she is younger too . iguess the stage will passsoon . im lucky as i still have my helper to help out when i got to do my work at home.

Has anyone tried earth mama angel baby booby tubes before? Would you recommend it? If so, how has it helped you? TIA.

Haven't seen or heard of this before but having read the reviews online (very highly rated on Amazon.com!), I am very intrigued. It's supposed to be really good for sore nipples, mastitis and engorgement -- kindda like a boob heating pack. It's filled with flax seed and basically you just throw it in the microwave for a few minutes before using it to soothe your sore breasts. Very organic and very convenient. Only thing that is a minus is cleaning it -- as it is filled with flax seeds, I'd imagine you cannot wash it or let any water near it lest you risk the seeds from sprouting. But on paper, it is a sound product, I'd try it.

Is it possible that my LO is on EBM milk strike? He has been drinking EBM since day one.. and he is now 14weeks old.. I am do mixed feeding.. But recently he has been rejecting his feed using EBM.. out of 120ml, he drank 90ml only and starts to push the bottle away.. But when it comes to fm feed, he hungrily drinks up the whole 120ml.. there isn't any changes to my diet.. going back to work next mon.. was thinking to stop pumping at work (very inconvenient) if he continues to reject the EBM.. hiaz..

i think its just a stage . continue to give EBM , if problem persist, give smaller feeds. My girl only drink an ave of 100ml . she is 22 mo now.
