Hi mommies! I am wondering if I should get Haakaa nipple shield first to standby in case bf is painful for me? I have nipple cream standby too but wondering if the shield is necessary? My colleague told me nipple shields are for inverted or short nipples only

Hi, anyone ever pump at public toilet? Where will you recommend if there's no nursing room available

I personally won't so do that. Get a nursing cloth and hide at a corner. If really need to pump in toilet, I'll pump and dump

Lactation consultant told me to feed the baby before baby cry . But I can’t wake my baby up , am I supposed to force wake him up to feed or just wait for him to cry?

For mummies who breast feed newborn every 2-3 hours, how often do u pump ? I alr feel tired after latching him every 2-3 hours, don’t feel like pumping but I don’t have ‘spare ‘ breast milk to for night feeding etc. How do I improve on this?

Nipple confusion

I am latching my 8 days old newborn currently. What should I do because I read that I should not introduce bottle to him now. How else can I feed my excess breast milk ?

Hi all mummy who breastfeed your baby,when you use syringe feed as an alternative, do u use the one time usage syringe? What other recommendations are there? I.e perhaps a reusable option ? For cup feeding, any recommendation as well? Thanks!

You can sterilise your syringe. The rubber will wear out quickly if you’re using a UV steriliser. I think it wears out less with steam sterilisers
