Breast feed

Lactation consultant told me to feed the baby before baby cry . But I can’t wake my baby up , am I supposed to force wake him up to feed or just wait for him to cry?

Does bb have jaundice? If so, it's better to wake him up for a feed as bbs with jaundiced are more tired than usual.

I think she meant when baby is awake but before baby cries. If baby is sleeping, I wouldn’t wake him

Normally wait for bb to cry.. else difficult to wake bb up

Best to feed before he is going to cry. When he is fidgeting alot...
