Which manual breast pump is the best and comfortable? I am currently using Philips Avent manual breast pump, unfortunately my mistake the main pump part melted so thinking of getting another breast pump. Anyone using Hegen? Pigeon?

Hi mummies! I am currently 7 weeks pp. My supply has been low from the begining, only yielding about 60mls each pump. These few days I notice my supply is dropping to only about 20mls now. I have been drinking lots of fluid , water, barley, red dates tea, milo, oats and also eating nutritious food throughout the day. But still no improvement. My LO only wants to drink breastmilk and is rejecting FM when I try to top up. I feel very heartbroken everytime she struggles and cries. Sometimes feel like giving up breastfeeding and giving her full FM. Feel horrible that I cant satisfy her hunger. :'( Is there any hope at all to increase my supply? Any idea why this sudden drop?

Do you do direct latching? I’ve noticed that when my LO latches, sometimes she can bring about 3 let down reflexes, more than pumping can. Stress, lack of sleep, illness, medicines, less frequent pumping/feeding, dehydration can all cause a dip in the supply.

I'm in my 3rd wk postpartum. Trying to latch baby but unable to as my nipples are short. Now pumping can only get 40ml the most. Baby taking 60ml formula and top up with ebm. Shld i engage LC? They charging $180 per session, they said shld take 5 sessions $800. Any of u had experience wif LC?

I went to see an LC at mount e novena, 100$ per session before gst

Haakaa pump reviews

I love that it is convenient and affordable and like the idea of latching LO on one side and using haakaa pump to collect milk on the other side. However I would like to hear how is the yield like? If use correctly, would it be comparable to electronic pump? Thanks

Itchy Red Dots On Breast

Hi , I’ve noticed red dots around the areola area of my breast. And they itch as well. I’m breastfeeding as well as pumping. It’s only on one side of my breast - the other side is fine. Anyone experience this? Can I still breast feed my baby? What can I do to stop the itchiness and red dots ? Thanks!
