EP teeny milk streams

LO is 3.5 months old and I EP...my milk flow has always been okay but lately it seems my milk streams have "shrunk". The milk only comes out in one single stream about the diameter of a strand of hair from each nipple. It's such a teeny tiny stream & it takes atleast an hour to pump. it just doesn't come out in multiple thick streams the way it used to. Any ideas?

Not being able to produce enough milk is indeed depressing. Anyone encountering this issue?

Yes! Not being able to have enough milk can be really depressing. But please don’t stress/worry so much! The more stress, the lesser milk. Please remember that you’re doing your best, and that is enough. My milk supply dropped when CB started. All the stress from WFH while caring for baby at home (normally ifc. But ifc also close during CB). I went to see a lactation doctor cause I refuse to give up on breastfeeding. My supply’s a bit better now. Not as good as per-CB, but sufficient

Does nipple shield really helps? Which brand is the best. I am most scared of breastfeeding as i had a bad experience when i breastfed my firstborn. The skin torn. Im now 8 mths pregnnt. Do i need to buy nipple cream as well?

I used pigeon nipple shield because I've short nipple. Didn't use any cream

Hi mommies, I've been exclusively latching my baby for a month. My baby now is 7 weeks, latch for 10 mins each side and every 3 hours. Yesterday i am curious how much breastmilk i can produce but i am only able to express 20ml on each breast. I was able to express 60ml each breasts previously before i exclusively go on latching. Does it mean my milk supply have went down? And my baby only have 40ml each feed?

aku dulu jg pernah kyk bunda.. setelah aku evaluasi sendiri ternyata ada yg salah sama manajemen laktasiku. aku sering membiarkan PD ku penuh. apa bunda jg demikian? rajin ngosongin PD gak bun?

Baby not eating as much and doesn’t burp

Hi Mummies... My baby is currently 6weeks old. She is bottle-fed breastmilk during her feeds. She was able to feed an average of 120, max 130ml. However, I realised she is eating less these days. Can go as low as 70ml. On average about 90ml. Also, after every feed, it’s difficult to get her to burp and most of the time, she doesn’t burp and fell asleep. She has reflux sometimes only. Is there something to be concerned with? Thanks in advance.

Breastfeeding while at work.

If I’m working in service industry like retail and restaurants, how do I pump while at work? Such industries can be quite demanding. Also, are employers allowed to deny any mother the time to pump her milk? #advicepls #1stimemom

if you are comfortable to pump in your staff area, why not. else, can check out your work area. if its a shopping mall, there could be a nursery room w private room for bf/pumping. for flexibility of pumping during work, u can always try to talk w ur in-charge. if really cannot, best you pump b4 work and during break.
