Baby drinking less at night

Hi mummies, My baby is around 5 weeks old. I’m exclusively pumping. I feed her every 3-4 hours and she usually drinks 120ml per feed on schedule. At night this 2 days, she drinks only 50ml-80ml and rejects the bottle no matter how hard I try. It seems she just wants to go back to sleep. I tried offering my breast directly but itshe rejected too. One thing I noticed is when I feed on schedule, she can’t seem to finish the bottle. When I feed on demand, she can. But I’m worried feeding on demand is too long a span from her last feed as it usually exceeds 4 hours. Is this normal? I’m just worried she’s drinking too little per day. She doesn’t appear to be irritated, still smiling and active most of the time.

NB usually sleeps most of the time and will only wake up for a feed. 120ml per feed is alot (my LO used to feed 60ml only per feed and wakes up every 2 hrs) & that probably makes her feel too full before she wakes up in 4 hrs time. Also means she's well hydrated and will only wake up when it's time for her to feed. So follow her cue.

Very little breastmilk output despite efforts

Could some people just not have enough breastmilk to feed baby? I've spent so much money on lactation massages, consultants, cookies, tea, juice, food, pumps and I am still pumping no more than 70ml each session. Wanted to bf baby exclusively partly because we wanted to save money on fm. Turns out that the few thousand dollars I spent is more than sufficient to buy 100 tins of fm. I'm so tired and depress and demoralise each time i see the output after pumping. Baby keeps crying because i can't produce enough milk for her.

How does breastfeeding work with confinement lady during first month?

As a first-time parent, I have heard that it is recommended for mummy to breastfeed and for baby to latch during the first few months. Can I check with experienced mummy out there on how this work during the night of the first month? We are getting a confinement lady to help, and I understand that one of her role is to feed the baby at night. Does the mummy need to wake up as well to breastfeed at night? Or does the confinement lady use the stored breast milk to feed the baby? #1stimemom #breastfeeding

I had confinement nanny. But i wake up to feed my baby in mid night.

Baby wakes up frequently to feed

My 1 month old baby has been waking up very frequently to feed. I'm currently direct latching him. He will wake up every hour or every 1 and a half hour. How to make my baby sleep longer like 2 or 3 hours? Is it because of low milk supply that's causing him to wake up so frequently? If so, how should i increase my milk supply? #1stimemom #advicepls

Drink alot of water. horlick. milo. papaya fisb soup currently i m taking supplyment for breastfeeding and surprisingly i can pump up to 400 ml. i pump 3 time per day

Breastfeeding diet

Hello mummies, just wanted to ask if formula is better than breast milk if my diet is not that healthy? Like I order food delivery for most my meals so its really quite difficult to have a very healthy diet and my cravings are usually not very healthy e.g bubble tea, fast food, instant noodles etc. Although i do eat salmon, cod fish, oats and fruits at times but I'm not sure if its enough? I read online and the results vary. Thanks all!!

Supply drop after illness

Hi mommies, my supply drop after having fever.. i am very stress now as i might not be able to catch up with my baby demand. How do i increase my supply back to previous level??

Try out lactation cookies and don’t be stress..The more you feel stress the more your milk supply will decrease...if you are ok, you can give your baby formula at the same time give your baby breastmilk. It will ease up your stress level
