Don't want breastmilk

Is it normal when I try to breastfeed my baby it rejected it. And want to vomit.

Hey Ila, May I ask how old baby is and how long you’ve been breastfeeding? There is a possibility that you could be experiencing forceful letdowns or your body could not have regulated the amount of breastmilk for baby yet :)

Covid vaccine for breastfeeding mummies

Hi all. I am currently y breastfeeding my baby. Am wondering if any mummies who are breast feeding has taken the covid vaccine? And did you stop breastfeeding after that?

I have a white dot on my nipple today after I pump milk. Is that milk blister ? How can I treat the milk blister ? Any mummy encounter this ? #pleasehelp pleasehelp

I go to a doc and they use a sterilised needle to poke it. And give me some wash / cream to apply. For the subsequent milk blister. I buy my own sterilised needle from Unity and poke it myself

Yield more than usual

Is it weird that I yield more when I pump 5-6 hourly? I pump every 3 hours (I don't pump at night and will latch once or twice) but since yesterday I was busy running errands and only got to pump after I got home, like 6 hrs later and surprised that I yield more than my usual. But the downside is my left is always very full and engorged. I will pump until I feel like I've cleared especially on that side although there's still lumps but not painful. Anyone else like me? Should I continue doing so?

Yielding more due to missed pump is expected. The first few times will cause engorgement. But try not to miss often as ur body will think tt demand decreases so it will eventually reduce. Rmbr ur body gets cue from ur pumping so the more u pump, the more it will produce milk. But if frequency of pumping or bf-ing decreases, ur body wont get the signal to produce milk at the usual timing tt u used to pump.

No colostrum or breast milk

I delivered on 4 Aug but till today 7 Aug there is still no colostrum or breast milk. One of my nipple is short and the other one is flat. My baby can't latch well. Tried using nipple shield but no milk too. Baby's birth weight is 3.7kg and has been on formula. She was vacuumed during delivery on week 40 + 1. My breasts are still soft and no engorgement. Is this normal?

Try to buy fenugreek supplement. Me as 1st time mom, I take it and breast milk kicks in. Also always wear bra and don't stress urself.
