Hi all, my preferred Gynae is only available to see me when I am at 9 weeks. Is this too late for my first check up? Thinking if I should change Gynae to get an earlier appointment, though not sure if an earlier appointment will change any outcome.

i think 9 weeks is still ok. I went for my 1st appointment at week 7 and doc says still very early, cannot confirm EDD. Was asked to do the same scan & check again 3 weeks later.

Brown discharge/spotting

Is it normal to still have brown/blood discharge? Just a small amount sometimes when peeing. I also had a bit of spotting. Just yesterday after so long. Im 6w5days.

Formula milk powder to recommend

Hi, I used to take ensure gold everyday. But since this is the first pregnancy, I am thinking to chg the milk powder for more complete nutricient. Any recommendations?#Needadvice#firsttimemom #singapore #pregnancy

I took nature one pregnancy milk during my pregnancy days last year 😁

Pinkish/brownish discharge

Hi all, I am at w5d6 yesterday based on doctor’s scan. Went to see doc yesterday and everyth was fine. Went to toilet today and notice there are pinkish and brownish discharge. I am quite worried. Anybody can advise if this is normal? Thanks thanks

Not normal, please go see gynae. They may prescribe you dupaston to stabilise the pregnancy. God bless you

Low lying gestational sec at 4weeks+

Hello, I had my 1st gynae visit yesterday. Found out my gestational sec implanted lower at 1/3 of the womb. Is there a concern? I'm starting to worry after googling similar situations. Gynae say it depends on where the placenta is. Hopefully higher otherwise there will be risk of bleeding or C-sect needed. At this point, she didn't mention on a threatened miscarriage but I can't help but worry. I'm scheduled for a return visit 2weeks later. As of now, no heartbeat developed yet or embryo seen. Any advise?

Bleeding at weeks 6 of pregnancy

Hi mummies, wanted to ask if anyone experience light bleeding during pregnancy but at week 6 no fetus heartbeat can be scan

Light bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy and yes, week 6 is too early to detect the fetus heartbeat. You need to monitor if there is any pain, and the bleeding continues… the bleeding should not be heavy like period. Consult a gynae immediately if any.
