Failed glucose test OGTT

Hi all, does anyone know how long we have to use glucometer to test our own blood sugar for once failed ogtt?

At least until you deliver. Post delivery tracking is more of if you want to know if the GD goes away

Good yet affordable portable breast pump

Hi mummies, May I know what portable breast pumps are good for petite woman with smaller breast size? Thinking to get 1 for home only and 1 portable when outside. Currently C cup at 23 weeks and looking to do some light purchasing of some essentials soon Look forward to some advice (:

It’s 18 weeks for me, first-time mum to be. While the physical symptoms are much better, the emotions are a tough one to manage. I guess it’s a mixture of my own work (stressful, long days), feeling alone (we are planning and managing on our own since our families can’t really assist much), planning for what happens next (caregiving plans, duties, my own masters that is to be completed while I’m on maternity) and uncertainty (hubby may be changing job during the third trimester). I feel like an emotional wreck this week and was completely exhausted after some tough days at work. It’s hard to name these emotions / tell hubs about it - which tbh, he may not exactly understand either….. Any tips from anyone? 🥺

*hug* i suggest talking to your hub.. sometimes we just need someone to talk to to clear our heads.. it might not go away but it definitely will lighten the load within yourself ♡ don be too hard on yourself. just do your best.. things will eventually turn out fine 😊😊

Unexplained Dizziness

Hello, I am 25 weeks pregnant and have unexplained mild dizziness (feels like a head rush) for the last 3 weeks. My blood pressure is normal, blood sugar is within normal limits (I have gestational diabetes, hence test 5 times a day), my doctor ran all blood tests like iron, calcium, magnesium, liver profile, kidney profile etc. and all are within range. It mostly happens at the same time during the day and a couple of times at a different time. Each episode lasts 20-40 mins and gets better when I lie down. My doctor is also a bit surprised and trying to figure out possible reasons. My doctor said that since it is quite mild and goes away, there is nothing to worry about but he would ask his peers as well for their opinions. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

How much clothes does a newborn need for first month?

I’m currently putting tgt a list of items to buy for my baby arriving in December. As we will be doing confinement at home and without help, I’m trying to make sure we have everything we need at least for the entire first month. Can experienced mummies advise how many of each of these items would be necessary for 1st month, assuming we are prepared to do laundry 3x a week: - short sleeve onesies - long sleeve onesies - sleep suits/rompers - swaddle blankets - bibs Thanks in advance!❤️

For me, I do once a week so - Day clothings & PJs 7 pieces each + 2-3 spares incase or leak or puke. Longsleeve onesies 1-2 pieces, sg hot, mostly short sleeves. Swaddles 1 per day. Bibs - lost count but good to have more especially if you intend to change every 2-3 feeds (or every feed if they burp out milk).

Hi I was previously getting fertility help from kkh under dr ee tat Xin. Seems like a chill and nice guy and just saw another couple’s birth vlog where he was the dr delivering, he seems like a decent doctor with a good sense of humor haha.

Falling down at 23 weeks pregnant

Hi everyone, I fell down just now at 23weeks pregnant though my belly did not hit the ground or anywhere, is there a need to go a&e? I don't feel any cramps or contractions but can still feel baby moving

You can continue to monitor baby’s movement for a day or so. Our baby is actually well protected in our womb because the walls of our uterus are thick with strong muscle and amniotic water is like a soft cushion. If you are still worried, then go for a scan for a peace of mind.

Yeah, it's fine. My previous work requires printing/photocopy of documents.
