6 months old baby crying

Hi there, first time parent here. My 6 months old baby is always crying when I lay her down or sit up on the bed. Is this normal or should I be worried?

probably feeling uncomfortable compared to lying position, have to get her slowly used to it

LO crying nonstop when away from mummy

Hi mummies, Anyone encounter similar situation? LO is 6.5 months old and somehow this past week has been super clingy to me. If anyone other than myself carries her, she will cry uncontrollably. Is it separation anxiety? She had her immunisation jab last week too and had a fever for 1 day. Appreciate if any mummy can share similar experience of what you did to alleviate this. I worry she’d lose her voice from crying too much. Thank you in advance!

Is your baby is breastfeeding? If Yes. Its normal for babies that breastfeeding. they are so clingy and sweet when they toddler. I have the same experience with you Mom. and their crying is okay. because it helps their vocal cords to exercise and it helps them to easy notice what there feels. 😊

7 month feeding schedule

My son is 7 months old. He takes 2 meals ( porridge mixed with my BM in the morning & puree in the evening & 1 rice biscuit each meal ) with 4-5x breastmilk 150 mls each time per day. I was wondering is this enough ? Im quite anxious because im used to feeding him alot of breastmilk a day and cutting down on his BM makes me feel guilty .

should feed more BM. main source of nutrition until 1 year old

I shouted at my baby

I accidentally shouted at my 6 months old baby. The look on his face when he was startled and about to cry immediately made me snap out of it and carried him so close to me, i applogized repeatedly while i crying. I'm having a bad day and i'm exhausted, drained. I didn't attend to him cause i rather he cry than i accidentally hurt or shout at him. The moment i attented to him i shouted at him 3x. It broke me inside. I will never forgive myself. I just needed to share here and hope to get comfort and be told that you also have done the same thing😔😔😔😔😔

I'm also guilty for ever shouting at my baby. Felt so guilty and angry with myself. I was alone at home and baby had been crying uncontrollably for almost an hour. nothing I do could calm him down and I just lost it for a moment. he stopped crying for a second out of shock, then resumed crying even harder. I immediately apologised and was crying too. thankfully he managed to calm down soon after 🥺

Difficulty from changing breast milk to formula

Hi mommies~ my baby is 6 mths old fully breast feed previously. Recently I have been trying to intro formula milk to him. But seems he doesn't like the taste of it. We tried for about a week before he sleep at night. At first he's just dislike the taste but ok to drink with a mixture of breast milk. But he has been throwing up this 2 days continuously after drinking. Any suggestions of what can I do? Or any formulas to intro? frisolac gold stage 2 is the brand that we tried for a week.

You may feed other brands like S26, Similac, Nan Pro or other brand you know of in the market. Buy in small tin to try. You can also try to give a little bit of breast milk then formula milk. Mix feeding in between, so your child get the difference taste of milk. Perhaps maybe due to formula taste, stomach upset, too much of milk, can be any reason. Try on different tips however if still the same, seek advice from doctor/nurse during monthly check up.
