Pregnancy update

Hi Mummies, Just hopping on here to share my experience with you all. Would also love to hear your similar experiences 😊 I'm currently 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I had very wet discharge and saw some brown discharge mixed with yellow discharge ( so technically pale brown) on my panty liner. After wiping many times and stuffing tissue slightly into vagina there was no abnormal discharge. I was worried it might be spotting so I went to KKH O&G center. The doctor checked my cervical mucus and found no blood (that's good news) she did an ultrasound and could only see the gestational sac. No yolk sac or fetal pole seen. Which had me wondering because I should see yolk sac by now but what surprised me was that the doctor said that my period might not be as accurate as I thought and that I may have ovulated later, meaning that I am actually way earlier in my pregnancy than I think I am 🤣 hence not being able to see the fetal pole or yolk sac. So... The doctor just prescribed me some progesterone pills that I have to insert in my vagina. I guess this helps with hormonal support and helps "prevent" (not 100%) miscarriage. Next appointment is 13 feb, I'll be 9 weeks then. I hope to see my baby then!!

NUH gynae recommendations

Planning to switch to NUH private, but not sure which dr to choose, any recommendations? (Or drs to avoid?)

ive just jumped to private , have been following up with Dr Vanaja for my past 2 pregnancies .. currently on my third one and also mine is a high risk pregnancy .. so far , nvr heard of any drs to avoid .. hehe .. dr vanaja so far is gentle and kind .. soft-spoken also ..

I don’t feel pregnant

hi all I’m alr 12 weeks as of today. Is it normal to not feel any nausea or dizziness?? I feel fine I feel normal. Is it a miscarriage? #1sttimemom

It’s normal not to have any nausea or discomfort thru out pregnancy. I had a pretty smooth pregnancy and my baby came out fine 😊.

Baby is not started moving

I am 18weeks pregnant , this is my first pregnancy why my baby is not started moving ?? Is everything ok?

same as me. but when I sleep it feel tight in my stomach

Prenatal Course

Anyone attended My First Love workshop and how was it? Or do you have any recommendations on prenatal course for new parents? Thanks!

not enough prenatal vitamins

Hi! I’ve been taking my prenatal vitamins everyday but I just realised I’m 5 days short. As in not enough to last till next check up. Should I be worried? Will baby be okay? don’t really want to go back and see my gynee as her rates really quite high. #worriedmomhere #newmom #firstmom

what vitamins are you on? you if you are on obimin, can buy them from the retail pharmacy at hospitals or polyclinics. it's about $14 for 100 tablets

PAPP A reading low

I did Oscar, NIPT & pre-eclampsia test. Test for Down syndrome came back ok - but I had risk for pre eclampsia and a super low reading for PAPP-A. Report shows there’s a high risk of fetal restricted growth too. Doc suggested for amnio test next.. anyone faced the same issue? #adviceplease #firstmom

Did anyone have experience of nasal bone not seen during fts and delivered baby was normal?

Hi not for my own pregnancy but I’m an insurance agent - 2 of my clients experienced absence of nasal bone during scan and subsequently it developed later, babies are all now healthy and growing well☺️

Mother in law 😡

And he has been recently swearing 2 bad words. In public and when we go over to family house too. Today my toxic mother in law gave a comment about the way I raise my child. She said I raise my child so well that he is swearing in public and infront of other relatives. Getting such bad remarks from my mother in law's bad mouth is disturbing me too much! I feel like asking her to shut up and keep her comments to herself about how I raise my child as her own son (my husband) needs alot of raising up to do even now at the age of 35! But I know by me reacting it's going to make a whole new drama and a big scene so i just kept quiet as my hormones are all over and I don't want to react differently.
