Hello mummies, yesterday night my 3.5M bb have fever 38.5 . I sponge him and give him Panadol syrup 3ML that I got during 2month vaccinations. The fever drop and back again around 10aM this morning. I gave him another 3ML and fever is still 38.2. Should I monitor him first or should go KK Emergency

Honestly for me, if baby has high fever, go to kkh straight. To rule out anything. My baby had covid and high fever 38 and above and was hospitalized for 3 days. They took urine and blood test to rule out any infection. As theyre still small, they did not give any medication for my baby as they say their kidney is not fully developed. I would suggest to not self medicate baby. Atleast go to clinic. And yup during the 3 days stay his fever go up down

Help me recognise is this rash allergy or acne. My baby has this for more than a month alrdy. She’s currently 3 months old. I have applied aveeno and cetaphil but it doesn’t go away although it fade some days but most of the days it appears very red.

Routine on a daily basis

Hello mummies. What is your daily routine like on a weekday? Do you usually shower your LO before sending to infant care? Im starting work soon and I doubt I have time to shower my LO in the morning. Is it okay if I changer his diaper and send him to infant care in his pajamas? Do you shower your LO after fetching from the centre as well?

If you have to be at work by 9am and you are sending at 7am. And if you think waking up, bathing your LO seems too early. Then wipe down, change diapers and clothes. Upon reaching school let the teachers know to shower. For me since I send to IFC at the age of 6 months, I made it a point to shower her before school. However if teacher re shower her in the afternoon or before going back then I am okay. I will see the time given for the last shower. If the showering and hr before fetching then I dont re shower her at home. If in the afternoon her last shower then Ill re shower her once I reach home.

Baby's milestones in Infant care

Hello mummies. I'm going to send my LO to infant care when he is 3 months old before I officially start work. In your experience, do the centre help with our baby's milestone eg sitting, rolling? As my LO will be spending most of his time in infant care, I'm worried about his progression. how do you deal with separation anxiety? I can feel the anxiety just imagining sending my LO to the centre 🥲

My baby has been in ifc for a month now, from 2.5months. Not sure about milestones as for 3 months nothing much😂 And man the separation anxiety for me was bad. I kept crying the first week sending my baby. And even after a month i still have the seperation anxiety i hate myself for having to send my baby to ifc.

Sex after giving birth

Taking care of baby takes quite a lot of time and energy so being intimate is quite far off my mind after I gave birth 3 months ago. When do couples usually feel ready to have sex again? Husband feels neglected but timing must usually suit him as he sleeps very early while I need to be up to feed baby during the nights. #advicepls

Honestly, this thing you guys need to discuss and have a mutual agreement and agree on something. For me, i had csect and started 6 weeks PP(def not recommended, cause uncomfortable). Afterwhich we just do as and when we want it, like once every 2 weeks. But also need to track your ovulation too to avoid unwanted pregnancy.

Baby with reflux

Hello mummies, sorry for posting poop picture 🙏🙏🙏 my boy turn into 3 M and his reflux got better. So i changed enfamil AR formula to Enfamil A+ last two days. He become more fussy and lesser drink milk. Previously he drink about 700-800ML a day. After I changed formula he drink only 500-600ML a day and his poo also change to watery like picture. I don’t know what to do and should I change back to AR formula. Is it ok to feed AR formula eve though his reflux is better. Pls share and advise me if you have same experience like me 🙏🙏🙏 Thanks in advance…

Im also facing issue with baby poop watery! However ive been using the same formula since birth not sure why it happened. My baby sometimes only drink 480ml/ day. I think its fine to continue AR formula

Does relactating come brown discharge?

I am trying to relacte 1-2weeks back and i have also just ended my period abt 1 wk ago. Just today i had brown discharge from below, im not sure is it im pregnant again, or due to relactation. Any thoughts about this? #firstmom #firsttimemom #worried

Hi, my period after birth is alittle haywire. I always get brown discharge for few days after my period ended. I also scared abiut being pregnant but nope not pregnant. I guess body is still adjusting. And it mught also be because youre relaxtating so your hormones are changing too!

Baby milking feeding

My baby is about 4 months old but she is still drinking 90ml x 8 feeds.Try to increase the amount of milk but she will refuse or gag and refused to drink. Is it okay if my baby drinks 90ml in the day and for night feeding she only drinks 60ml.

What my PD told me, different baby different intake. Just because the rough gauge for baby’s intake is based on weight, doesn’t mean the baby/the baby’s stomach can take it. My PD even told me to reduce my baby’s milk from 90 to 60 cause we told me baby was vomitting milk. Is she gaining weight? If yes then thats not a problem at all.

Baby’s weight gain

My baby is 3 months and she’s only 5.2kg. Has regular wet and dirty diapers and drinking well. Is this normal? 😭

Thats normal. As long as during her monthly check up there's no decrease in weight. My #2 at 10 months only 7kg
