Not taking supplements due to severe morning sickness

Hi all, currently week 10. As I have severe morning sickness (HG) puking multiple times, unable to stomach even water. Gynae advised to stop all supplements as sight of supplements triggered my nausea as well. But I'm a little worried that if i stops folic and fish oil, will it affect baby's development?

Trust your gynae. If you the morning sickness is so bad that you can’t down water then there is really no point feeling bad about it though cos morning sickness can be really bad.. but maybe you can try without the fish oil? Cos it big and have a smell.. so u just take the folic acid first since it’s so small? Then don’t take first thing in the morning if you feel it’s so bad .. maybe after you start your day with a meal that you crave for then u eat the folic acid ? When I started off, if I eat healthy breakfast, it turns me off and I feel like puking so I just eat anything that makes me feel better even if it’s McDonald with ice Milo since my first meal will determine my morning. Sickness of the day.. 😂😂 but of cos , eat in moderation lah ..

Flying during pregnancy

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and will be flying to china during week 21 and 22 which is in april. The tickets were booked last year. Anyone experience husband who refuse to let you fly because you are pregnant?

Nausea vomitting

8 weeks pregnant now having nausea and vomiting throughout the day, on medications from KKH but cause drowsiness, very picky with the food i can take also. Anybody facing the same issue Heard will last the whole tri1, how do yall cope at work?

i got the same issue. was recommended to try acupuncture but is hestitating. anyone doing TCM on 1st trimester?

Feeling depressed

Is there any first time mummies who tried so hard to get pregnant and when you finally do, you feel so depressed, so scared that baby is going to be born unhealthy as I am obese. I am also facing rather bad morning sickness and just got diagnosed with high blood pressure at only week 8 of pregnancy, mood swings are really bad. I feel guilty for feeling like this and I don’t know how to continue on with the pregnancy #advicemommies #firsttimemom

Happy thoughts. Now you’re so close to another person. So dearly and precious. If I were you, I will take this opportunity to “reset” myself by eating well, light exercise and sleep to my heart’s content

Gagging on prenatal supplements

Week 9 and im starting to gag on my prenatal supplements which are in capsule form. Haven't been able to swallow them for 2 days. Anyone feeling the same? I've heard of chewable prenatal supplements. Does anyone have any advice? Worried that baby will not get enough nutrients :(

I'm absolutely the same. My gynae told me to just try my best and it's okay to not consume it everyday. My prenatal requires me to take 2 per day, I've only been able to force myself to take 1 each day for the past couple of weeks. On days that are worse, I've skipped it completely too. It's really difficult to swallow them now.

Nausea & headache

I’m still experiencing headaches from time to time almost everyday. When I see spicy food or smell something fishy I feel nauseous even my youngest child poop makes my head spins. I tried using inhaler for anti nausea and it doesn’t work.

In need help , I'm 33week pregnant but , baby is breech

What should I do I don't know Braxton Hicks or contraction. Give birth on Feb 2024

Baby will definitely or most of the time will turn head down by 35/36 weeks, depend. Contractions will happened few minutes apart and as it gets closer it will be very tense. Braxton Hicks is what we call as false contractions but that also sign of ready for labour anytime. Usually for signs of birth will be waterbag leaking, contractions, mucus plug, slight bleeding.

Gestational sac only

Hi all according to my LMP, I am exactly 7 weeks today and I got my 1st vaginal scan. However, there was only a 7mm gestational sac and ultrasound says its 5w4d. I've only had bloating and felt extreme fatigue with a little cramps once in awhile. No nausea/vomiting. Dr asked me to return for a rescan in 1 to 2weeks time. I'm very worried now cos mine is a 28day cycle mostly. Any advice? Do I go back for a scan in 1 week time or should I wait for 2 weeks?#pleasehelp #firsttimemom #advicepls

Gestational sac only

Dont worry, i had nothing during my scan at 5w. Not even the gestational sac. But dont worry now I can see my baby and hear the heartbeat!! 😀

Is Brown Discharge Normal?

Hi all, I am currently going into Week 8 soon and I realise there are dark brown discharge, is it normal? I have not seen any gynae yet as my first appt will be on the 31st Jan. Seeking your kind advice on what to do please, thank you in advance!

Been having difficulty deciding what to eat for meals as the thought of eating something for a meal makes me nauseated...even soup and porridge. Anyone feeling the same and how do you cope with it?

having the same problem at 7 weeks :( still trying to figure out. jiayou us!
