Im now 10 weeks pregnant and my husband has acted very distant since we knew of the pregnancy. We had a long talk and he confided that he is feeling alot of stress and anxiety, mostly from fear of the child having disabilities as his family has a history of disabilities. We have decided before trying for a child that if we do find out that the child has any disabilities we will choose to let it go, but he is scared of undiscovered conditions that we wont know until the child's birth, which he said he cant handle it. I understand that such fears are common for any parent, but he s losing sleep over this. What can I do to help him get over his fear and anxiety? We are first time parents

Hey, that sounds tough. Try seeing a couple counsellor if you and/or your husband need someone there to hold the emotions or moderate communication

Hi mummies, I’m a FTM.. saw that KKH slot me in another appointment next month at the Stork Centre. Any of you went through it before? Can anyone explain to me? I’m feeling super anxious after searching about it :(

Hi mummies, i am 12W now but i keep feeling cold whenever there’s abit of aircon 🥲 i’m being told by my family that im actually q weak cos pregnant women normally feels very hot and warm?… help!! #firstmom #firsttimemom #advicepls

Don’t worry about it. I’m also like that. Wear socks and long pants to bed. After a day or 2 you will resume back to normal. :)

Do they provide the scan image and what do they usually scan for?

yes, they scan for anatomy, organs and blood flow to the organs

Not to have a belly at 12 weeks

Hi mummies .. is it normal not to have a belly at 12 weeks😟

Absolutely, especially if you’re a FTM (everything not stretched yet). My belly didn’t showed until week 25 onwards (not very obvious). Even so, my colleagues only realised I’m pregnant when I’m about 8months 😅.

TMC first born inventive

Anyone sign up for TMC first born incentive? Anyone has signed up? What are exactly the benefits? Thanks in advance.

For mine, there was discounts for my Oscar scan, hospital stay, first month cakes (sweetest moment) and also a free goodie for SBI/FBI members. My gynae is also under TMC’s list but I forgotten if there was a discount for his fees as well. Which I find it pretty worth it since I saved more than the FBI fees. 😊

What to eat after vomiting when you are having fever, cough n cold?

I try eating small and frequents meals but after eating i will vomit everything out. My stomach feels hungry and bloated..

Ive been taking probiotics for 3 days now after meals and so far it has helped with my bloating and acid reflux. I was burping excessively which made me nauseas and want to vomit. I also take Woodward’s gripe water.

Sharp and short pain left bottom, it is bearable and like a pulling feel.. is it normal?

yes its normal, it will go away.. i had mine too for a few days.. baby is growing, so the womb is stretching to give more space for growing..

Extremely fatigue

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow, I feel extremely fatigue,how to avoid this phase?

Sharp Pain Pulling sensation at week 10

Hi mommies, currently at week 10 and recently I have sudden sharp pain pulling sensation that last a few seconds. Not sure is it normal?
