Feeds for newborn
My 2 weeks newborn has gained her birth weight, can she stop with the scheduled feeding and be fed on demand only (4-5 hourly)?
Bringing newborn out
Just curious if there are any tips in managing pump schedule when bringing a newborn out? I don't drive so have to take public transport/taxi. My usual pump schedule is 3hourly so not sure how the mummies manage when they are outside
speeding up labour
hello mummies, i was just informed by the doctor that im 2cm dilated but havent had much progression with labour (only cramps and irregular contractions so far). wondering if there are any tips to get into established labour so i can meet my baby soon :))) ##firsttimemom ##advicepls
Newborn wake window
Pls help, my newborn just turned 1 month. Her wake window is getting longer sometimes even stayed up for more than 5 hours, she is overtired but she can’t seems to fall asleep. We even tried to make her sleep once we spotted her sleeping cue but failed. #advicepls #firstmom #firstbaby #FTM
Feeding newborn
My newborn (10 days old) only feeds average of 3.5 to 4 hours. This makes the number of feeds to an average of only 6. Does this cause my milk supply to be low because of the longer intervals or will her growth be affected because of the lesser number of feeds in 24 hours? (Not 8-12feeds as recommended)
Feeding related
My newborn feeds at an average of every 4 hours but the duration varies a lot from 10mins to even up to 1 hour. Is this a cause for concern? How do I know if my milk supply is not sufficient for her?
KKH subsidized patient
Can we get HL easily? I'm now 37+3. Tummy is hard and pelvin pain now.
to induce or not to induce?
hi all! ftm here. edd is 28/7. turning 39wks this fri, which coincidentally falls on my next checkup appt too. currently only 1cm dilated, with no signs of labour at all too. baby & i are all healthy, thankfully, and baby is weighing at estimated 2.9kg currently. i’ve been doing squats, walking more than 10k steps daily & bouncing on yoga ball too. even taking dates & drinking raspberry leaf tea. on last checkup, gynae gave us an option to be induced by the next appt, citing reasons as to avoid baby from getting too big. as she noticed a rapid upwards pattern on baby’s weight gain within third trimester itself. been going back and forth regarding this. as much as i’d like to naturally go into labour on my own.. i can’t stand the backache, reflux, morning sickness & all the discomfort. would love to get this baby out of me too :( need some advice please. any kind of help will do. thank you in advance!
Plus size binder
Anyone can recommend where to get like a pregnancy binder? I'm slightly plus size and will be doing c section, and looking for a binder that can fit my tummy after the ops.
Breastmilk PP 2 weeks
What is the usual volume PP 2 weeks if I'm pumping exclusively (have flat nipples and baby has difficulties latching)? I'm currently pumping 60-70ml every 3h for 2 boobs.
