Solid food for baby

Hi mummies, can we give those store bought packet solid food like Gerber's to feed baby supplemented with milk when baby is 6mth onwards? Do we need to prepare boiled and mashed solids (e.g. potatoes and broccoli) to feed baby? #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstmom

You can do porridge, puree, cerelac, gerber, etc. What suits your child and preferences you can do.

Which baby wash or shampoo🧴do you use for baby ?

Can recommend? I am using one that produces a lot of suds that are difficult to wash off with water so my baby hair is soapy.#pleasehelp

Should i be concerned with these rashes?

My LO is 4 months old. Just wondering what are these rashes? I put her to cotton clothes and she sleeps with fan on. Sometimes i on two fans cos sg weather is crazy hot sometimes. Cos i tot this might be due to the weather. But maybe not. Any remedies for this? Should i bring her to see doc or is this common among babies? Help.

this may be caused by friction in between the folds of the neck. can put some moisturizer 🧴

Can close baby’s eye and rub downwards else just leave it. It will come out on its own, I usually just leave it.

Celebrating baby first month and not sure whether it is actual day or one day before. My LO was born on 9 July does he turn one month on 8 Aug or 9 Aug?

I celebrate on the same date, eg 29 then next month 29th.
