Coral calcium supplement

My doctor prescribed coral calcium 1000mg during my first visit as my current supplement is insufficient. Was wondering is there a need to take coral calcium or normal calcium will do? As I hope to look for a more sustainable solution since the supplements are quite expensive.

Is it safe to have protein shake ?

Trying to lose abit of weight while in 1st trimester as not to reach 3 digit weight

I would suggest meal replacement to be compared with proteins

calcium requirement

I'm currently 8 weeks and during my recent gynae visit, I was given folic acid. The gynae mentioned that if I'm drinking enfamama twice a day, I will not need calcium pill since milk works just fine. Should I opt for calcium pill instead moving forward?

pill better. the milk has a lot of sugar

Diabetes pregnancy

Hi mummies !! I’m first time mum however I was diagnosed with diabetes early this year March & soon after I realized I’m 6 weeks pregnant now . Any mummies with diabetes history to share more experience with me ? ◡̈

I have prediabetes. My endocrine do a monthly to 6 wks apptment with me. Each time she will check my hba1c and I monitor my glucose daily 6 times since i knew of my pregnancy. However my readings were pretty ok so she told mi i could skip some readings if i kip eating same stuff.

Low blood pressure? Need to go doctor?

I was feeling very tired few days ago so I take my BP at home and it was 103/63 and then 96/59 maybe 2 days apart This is much lower than my usual BP…my BP always elevated when I check at hospital or doctor coz I stress but is the low BP too low?? Do I need to visit my gynae for low BP?? My BP generally in healthy range around 110/80 or 120/80

Second pregnancy and exhausted

Anyone else pregnant for the second time? I have a 2 year old who is full of energy and getting chatty but my nausea and fatigue is draining all my energy by the evening…:how is this going to go…:im worried

NIPT Subsisdies

Hi mommies, may I know how much it costs for doing NIPT in KKH? Can I just arrange for an appointment, or do I have to obtain a referral letter from polyclinic? I'm currently 8+ weeks.

For subsidy route, you are to go poly and ask referral. Depends which hospital given either NUH/KKH and thereafter they will submit your first appt and the choice of hospital will sms you. Then, the next appt will be fixed accordingly like FTS, AMC,ADC, DRs Consultation, etc.
