Hi, I had a weird dream recently and was thinking if it meant something?

Did a pregnancy test recently. Had a weird dream just a few days before I found out I was pregnant. It was an unplanned pregnancy and we alrd have 2 kids. Financial wise it's a bit tough for a 3rd baby. In that dream, I was at the hospital in pain. Beside me was a doctor and my husband (unsure if my husband, wasn't clear in the dream). But I clearly saw a doctor was holding a fetus that was still developing but it was black and there was blood. The doctor asked me if I wanted to see. I said no because I was emotional of losing a baby. The doc forced me to see the unborn baby. I was crying so badly but the doc still force and showed the fetus right Infront of my face. And I woke up from the dream aft that. I was confused if it was a sign of anything. Any islamic/general views on this ?

Milk for 1 year old

My baby just turned 1 and the polyclinic doctor mentioned I could start introducing UHT milk. For my baby doctor says I can give 500-750mls of milk/day. I thought formula milk is better since it has all the necessary vitamins for baby? Anybody still gives formula milk? And how much are you giving? I noticed the recommendation on the formula tin says 2 feeds per day. But I feel that’s too little? My baby is on the smaller side, 8kg, polyclinic nurse says it’s fine. So I thought the formula milk would be a good supplement for weight gain

ya, I still feed formula. My baby drink 210ml 4 to 5 times a day

High Fever & Diarrhoea

Hi mummies my son has been sick since he started infant care. Which is 1st Aug, he is turning 15 months soon. High fever cough flu the first week(7days) then he recovered for 1 week(5days) and he is back to being sick high fever and diarrhoea for 9 days, I don’t know if it’s the school cos he likes to put things in his mouth or because he is teething. Cos at the same time I realise he is drooling so much and he has 3 tooth’s coming out. Keep going to A&E cos the fever(highest 40.5 lowest 38) and drooling is quite bad, he refuses to drink water and milk as I have force him with syringe. Doctors refused to take blood test keeps saying it’s a viral infection and he will recover himself He poops green with mucus about 8 times per day. His butt and penis is so red and stinging for him. So worried and I don’t know what else to do.

Can try to go to a different PD? Poor boy. It must be tough for you too.

My child is 14 months now but still cannot walk without aid. What should I do?

Walking without aid

Each child has their own growing pace. Don’t be too worried ok mummy. Your child will walk when the time comes. What you can do to help is doing some activities that involves guided walking, allowing your child to move around & cruising on your home furnitures. Make sure to baby proof your home as they will tumble and fall more often when they are learning how to walk 🥰

I’m in my third trimester and decided to change from private to public, do anyone know which is better? KKH or NUH or SGH? For public patients

I highly recommend NUH as i gave birth to both my babies there, and their service are TOPNOTCH! im a subsidy patient, btw. 😌

13m toddler still relying on formula

hi mummies, my LO(13m) still wakes up thru the night for milk. We recently changed to toddlers formula but she seems extra fussy crying through the night and waking up even more. Dont know if we should go back to stage 2 if she is not ready. As context, she naps in IFC + sleeps from 7pm - 6am with milk breaks at 11, 2, and 4. We’ve tried extending her sleep time to 9-10pm but she still wakes up at the same timing. She eats breakfast, lunch, dinner.

I'm still giving formula my toddlers are 2y

Moisturising lotion for babies

Hi Mommies, My baby couldn't sleep without aircon during the daytime, so we'll on aircon for him. Night time we don't on it. These few days, I realised his skin became pretty dry. Is there any good moisturising lotion to recommend for my baby? Thanks in advance.

My baby has super dry skin too and ive tried so many different types of lotions and find that aveeno lotion works wonders!

Blackhead removal

I'm pregnant and want to remove my blackheads that are very obvious T^T. However, i cant seem to find blackhead remover products/skincare that is pregnancy safe. Please give suggestions 🙏🏼 #blackhead

You can go for basic facial (with no radioactive, micro needling etc) to get your blackhead removed! I have been doing this every month.

Bump/Knot on baby’s head

Hi mummies! Anyone have experienced your infant has a bump on any parts of their head? Mine had this since birth, have asked the doctor during his jaundice appt but they mentioned nothing to worry as it will go away, but it has been almost 4 months and it is still there. What is this thing?

Most likely lymph nodes! Doc says nth to worry about. My 5mo has a few of these and at the same parts of the back of the head, above neck.
