Friso gold and Friso

I was in Malaysia shopping the other day and notice the Friso 1 is different from Singapore version. Malaysia Friso is called Friso but Singapore version is called Friso GOLD Any parents know what’s the differences?

Its packaging laws by the respective govt.. example Singapore can put the brand Frisolac GOLD regardless of any stage. However Malaysia can only put the word GOLD only from stage 3 onwards. For Singapore they don't allow promotion for stage 1 and 2, while Malaysia don't allow you to do branding or posh words like gold for stage 1 and 2. As they encourage breastfeeding for kids below 1 years old.

Bellamy formula 6-12months

Hi selling off new tin bellamy 6-12months formula as my son is allergic to cows milk. Letting go at 50$, please let me know if anyone interested or know anyone whos interested.

Refuse bottle feeding

My baby is 8month+ now. He was mixed feeding before. Since we start solid for him after 6 month , he refuse to take bottle (we use Similac brand). Yes he still taking my breast feeding, solid 3 to 4 times per day. Any one knows why like this. Wondering he don’t like the taste of Similac or don’t like bottle feeding. Should I change another formula brand? Any recommendation? Thanks in advance.

You mentioned he is okay with breast feeding, how about hand expressing some bm into the bottle to see if he’s okay with it? If he’s not, then he doesn’t like the bottle.

8 month old baby diarrhoea

Has anyone had experiences with their baby having diarrhoea? My 8 mth old baby is having it now and it caused a very big abrasion in between her bum cheeks. She will cry when we try to clean her up. I feel so bad for her. What can i do to make the diarrhoea go away. Just changed a diaper and another one came. 😓😓

Switch to lactose free milk, if still diarrhoea better consult PD. They can prescribe hidrasec, so far very effective for my baby, took once or twice then she’ll stop pooping. While having diarrhoea pls don’t use wet wipes to clean her bum, use cotton ball and water instead, or you can also wash her bum with water. Then apply thick layer of Desitin purple or Sudocrem after every diaper change.

need help on my bill

hi parents i am very very confused on my NUH bill firstly, i got a msg to pay $165.48 for my outstanding bill and then was told i have a credit bal of $1046, so i called up the billing dept and asked them to explain. then, she said i dont have to pay the $165.48 as it will be deducted from antenatal fees and regarding the credit bal, they will refund me after the finance side check and supposed to call me to explain the bill. so a week later which is today i check again the bill and suddenly the credit bal is missing....and nobody from their side called me to explain anything.... i thought i'm supposed to get a cheque back for that credit bal too.. pls help me i'm really confused. thank you

Application for playgroup through ECDA

I have applied my interest for 1 preschool next year November. How long does it take for the centre to contact regarding placement? Should I do anything more? As would really prefer to send my kid to that one particular preschool. Should I apply interested for multiple preschool just to be safe?

Depends on vacancy. I registered mine for playgroup since 12mo till now (24m) no slot, currently waiting for prenursery. But since I’m not working I can afford to wait with her. But if you need to go back to work anytime soon, best to register for multiple schools then call and go down often to check if there are vacancies.
