Anyone went for the glucose test? And what to expect? Can I go for the 1 hr instead of 3 hrs?

You won’t be able to just go for 1hr instead of 3hrs. They will first take a blood & urine sample before they get you to drink the glucose water. And after taking the glucose drink, you have to check back in twice after an hour each to take another sample of the blood and urine test. So the 3hrs is compulsory and necessary.

When will you starts to feel the baby movements? Currently week 19+ but feels nothing 😂 but do feel bb on the left side in the morning if I slept on the left throughout the night .. #firstbaby #firstmom

Mine was around week 22 onwards (very light bubbling). I started to really “feel” the waves at week 25, occasionally “seeing” movements also haha.

Any exercise or diet tips

just go for a walk after each meal, walk 15mins out and 15mins back home. it helps a lot

medisave maternity package

hi parents i'm a first time mum here i need advice on medisave maternity package. so is that something i have to file claim (meaning i need to produce all my bill expenses and submit) for or will it be automatically done by cpf side? the reimbursement via cash or paid back to cpf? help a mumma out pls thank you so much

For NUH the hospital will file the claim for you after you deliver, and the amount will be reimbursed via cheque. You should check with your hospital if it’s the same!

Which FRESH Milk good to drink?

Hi everyone! I am currently drinking HL milk. I don't really like powder milk. Which other fresh milk I can buy to drink? Thank you.

Delivery at NUH

Hey mummies, can anyone advise what baby and mom care items we get from hospital at time of delivery such as belly binder etc or need to buy own. TIA

Last 4 years in NUH after my first born, we do get a goodie bag however not much of items as it is mostly sample. They will definitely provide you diapers and wipes for baby during stay in the nursery. But afterwhich, of course we have to purchase ourselves. You can look up on their website to know what are the recommended items to bring during labour : https://www.nuh.com.sg/our-services/Specialties/Obstetrics-Gynaecology/Pages/default.aspx Meanwhile, rest of the baby products you can purchase at Kiddy Palace, Mothercare.
