Nanny : More knowledge (if you get the correct one), will take care of you and baby, some will even take care of your husband’s meal as well. But if you have your own ways or dislike anything, might have to stand firm cause some CN are quite stubborn. Lodging is temporary. Helper: You have to choose if you want her to focus more on baby or housework (if baby, then you have to give and take not to nitpick when she have undone house chores). Also, some may not have much experience on taking care of newborn even thou they have a kid of their own. You have to provide them a room for 2 years. Infant care: Good for working parents but have to prepare that your baby might fall sick more often (normal if sending to school). Ultimately, decide if you have the time to take care of baby, your budget and also space.

Hi mummies! Im currently at 20weeks right now, but I've been feeling alot of cramps at my abdominal area and my tummy feels less "harder" than it was. Im just worried.. and i havent felt my baby kick/flutter since 2 days ago. Can i know is it normal? Or not?#firstbaby #firstmom

it’s normal that baby kicks are not consistent at 20 weeks. only worry when it’s 28 weeks onwards and you cannot feel

Affordable Breast pump

Hi ladies! I'm a ftm looking to buy breast pump. Mainly I've seen spectra , madela and babyfree brands recommended. Just wondering anyone have used and recommend cheaper alternatives available in shopee/lazada ? Another point, how did u choose flang size? Before or after delivery? Is there such thing as one size fit all? I'm actually very overwhelmed and lost . any advice also would help. Thank you in advance.

I am using babyexpress so I can’t recommend the others 😂 After delivery, LC will measure for you in your ward. No, as nipples don’t come in same sizes. Wrong flange size can lead to pain in nipples and also your yield will be affected. Choose something you feel like you will like (color, budget etc etc) or something easy to use. Don’t stress yourself out with the buttons and functions as you’ll eventually get it. Some time into pumping, you may want to measure your flange size again if you feel like it’s hurting you. 😊

Hi, I have been coughing over a month now. I ran out of cough syrup that was prescribed by Doc. Hence, resort to pharmacy @ Unity and was given this. Anyone had this before?

Hi mum, I haven’t personally used that exact cough syrup before, but I’ve seen it being given for chesty coughs to help loosen phlegm. Since you’ve been coughing for over a month already, I think it’s better not to just keep switching syrups and instead go back to see a doctor again to check what’s causing the long cough. Sometimes prolonged cough can be due to lingering infection, post-nasal drip, or even asthma-like irritation, so better to get it properly reviewed by expert.
