Newborn insurance for critical illness

Hi everyone, I’m currently on week 34 and looking for newborn insurance that covers critical illnesses. Can anyone please advise which insurance do you recommend? My premium budget is 1K to 2K per year. Thanks.

Did you get the maternity insurance that covers pregnancy complication and your critical illneess which can then be transfered to your newborn after birth? I got this with AIA

is it normal when ur inner thigh painful at 3rd trimester? what shud i do ...

Yes, it's normal. Use pregnancy pillow or bolster in-between your thighs when you sleep. The weight of the baby can cause pressure on the thighs. I also went for prenatal massage once every 3 weeks and that relieved my thigh and back pain tremendously.

I have haemorrhoids in my butt I think. This is my 1st pregnancy 32weeks. Is that commons ?

It’s normal, if it’s not affecting you then leave it alone. It will go off during labour (assuming you’re going for natural).

Tired in 3rd trimester

Am at 32 weeks now. Feeling unusually tired and slight head heaviness. Is it normal to feel this way in 3rd trimester?

Mon pubic pain anyone?!

Does anyone experience severe pain around your mon pubic area?? I am at my 27th weeks now and had that for almost 2 weeks already. My work requires me to walk around often and the pain from standing after sitting for long is so unbearable. Embarassed to walk as I don’t really know how to move my feet straight after due to the severe pain and had to grit my teeth and clench my fist when i do managed to walk😓😓 even after taking public transport and alighting to walk is so painful. Had to stand for long and move my feet slowly as if i just learned to walk! If i were to see a gynae, do u think they will give HL for this??

what is mon pubic area? i doubt they can give HL..

12 days baby sleep straight 7 hours at the afternoon is it normal?

Yes it is normal for NB to sleep long hours as they are sleepy. Soon their sleeping pattern will change as they age up.

hi mummies anyone able to share how much they paid deposit for NUH subsidised? considering 6 bedder thanks

subsidized normally doesn't require any deposit. I was with kkh sub 6 bedder (class c) just last 2 months. everything was paid via medisave. my final bill had an excess of $200+ which they refunded back.

32 weeks threatened preterm labour due to UTI. Anyone same experience?

Was warded for threatened preterm labour due to UTI. Had active contractions & was given jabs to stop the contractions. Also gynae said that most likely my babygirl will be premature later on. Wont reach 38weeks & beyond. Anyone have similar experience? How do i deal with the UTI other than meds?

I really feel for you, being warded at 32 weeks with contractions must be so scary, and worrying about your baby girl on top of that is a lot to carry. Please trust your gynae team completely right now and do not try to manage the UTI on your own outside of what they have prescribed, as this one truly needs proper medical treatment to protect both you and your girl. If at any point your contractions pick up again or anything feels off, please go back to A&E or call your ward immediately, okay?
