Vomit out my prenatal vitamins

Hi mommies! Im a ftm and i consumed obimin early morning on empty stomach.. but an hour later i vomitted it out. Should i take it again at night or just the following day?#advicepls

It’s around W6 for me but my boobs had gotten bigger and it’s starting to itch! I applied bio oil but sometimes it’s still super itchy. Any suggestions? #skincare

It is your body hormones during pregnancy and you will have dry skin that cause itchiness. Can be at ur leg, hand, butt, body etc. You can try Palmer's Cocoa Butter for dry skin or try Nivea cream and apply every day.

Recommendation on gynae at TMC

Hello, i am first time pregnant and currently in my 5th week. Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I would like to know if there is any good gynae recommendation from TMC and normally how much is their prenatal cost? #firstbaby #advicepls #firstmom

Firstly, congrats :)) TMC has alot of good gynaes! Do you have gender preference? For me I started out knowing for sure I wanted a female 🙏🏻 for male gynae in TMC I highly rec Dr Tan Kai Lit! Female i think Dr Pamela Tan seems quite pops too. Am a FTM too ~W8 now. Sharing based on my research & checks with my mom friends: In general, first consults for these private hospital gynaes range from $120-160, ultrasound scans $80-120. Subsequently it goes down slightly but seems to hover around $100+$100 still on average before GST. So far I went for 2 appts alr and spent ~$300 on average for each. This includes folic acid supplements and antinausea meds. Some clinics have prenatal packages starting W16 I think, and others have packages start only later at W20/22... Prior to package, there's the genetic syndrome screening at about W10, where usually we are asked to choose between: - 90% accuracy screening ultrasound to look at baby measurements like nuchal width etc. & hormonal level testing; the results makes use of statistics to come up with a risk ratio. It's called the OSCAR test & costs about $300+. - 99% accuracy blood screening, otherwise known as non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT). Baby DNA is extracted from our blood! NIPTs offered by gynaes here are typically Harmony or Panorama. This also reveals baby gender. They cost >$1k. After that timepoint, there's an anatomic foetal anomaly scan typically done around W20-22, that's what is covered by the package and then subsequent consults/scans. I've seen some about $1500-2000ish (?) Not so certain for this segment as have just decided on doing Panorama and not thought further 😊 As a ballpark figure, I think prenatal to delivery typically costs about ~$15k, for natural uncomplicated deliveries, based on my friends who gave birth in the last 6m-1y. :) Don't worry too much, I'd say try looking at Google reviews after you decide on like 3 or 4 possible gynaes...then just make a first appointment in about 1-2 weeks and go see bubba :)

Is it ok to drink sweet and cold drinks moderately?

Yes you can but in moderation esp sugar content in most of the drinks.

Should i or wait

I’m currently 5weeks 5days, yet i have not meet any gynae. Should i wait for referral or go any of the gynae clinic first?

I waited for 2 or 3 months cos I don't really like the vaginal ultrasound. but when is up to the person comfort level

Insomia and Gastric

Hi mummies anyone can help. I am drinking Remeron at the moment since I couldnt sleep at night but Im still worries on the effect. I also have gastric and have some medicine but im afraid to drink though. Anyone experience this kind of symptoms? and what to do??

Should you be having gastric and being prescribed with medication take it when necessary. I have gastric before and during pregnancy. However to avoid being dependent on gastric medications, ill eat on time for every meal period and in small portions.

Facial at week 7 can?

Can. As long as you feel okay lying on your back then I don’t see any issues. Can probably let them know you’re pregnant so they can use pregnancy suitable products.
