Low placenta

Hi Mummies! I just had my 20 weeks check up, everything’s great except that my placenta is low. Has anyone been told the same? And did it eventually work its way up? I was told that if it didn’t, I can’t go for a normal delivery which would be the most ideal for me 🙁

3D scan at 20 weeks

Hi Mommies! Any Idea how much a 3D scan costs and where can I get it done please? Is there a recommended time to get it done? TIA!

I am planning to do that and this is the brochure that I’ve gotten from TMC - https://www.thomsonmedical.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Brochure-3D4D-Ultrasound-Scan.pdf The suggested timeline for TMC is to do it between 24-32 weeks. I’m going to schedule one this Friday during my gynae check and can probably tell you the cost after that.

Leg massage/reflexology

Going to be 21 weeks along when husband and I decided to go to Batam in Nov. Is it safe I go for leg massage? Am avoiding full body massage.. just leg. Plus I started having water retention since 17 weeks.

20th week/detail scan at KKH ADC

Does anyone know if the husband is allowed into the ADC room for the detailed scan? Having mine soon! Just wondering.

Should i be worried?

Late 4 days. I had medical abortion in Aug , had my first period abt 5 weeks aft. Had a week long of bleeding During my mid cycle aft sex. Ive got no symptoms except for being alil gassy. Farting quite a fair bit. Should i wait out to see if my period will come or take a test? If its negative gonna be alil disappointed.

Test ART positive

Week 20, tested ART positive, not yet see doctor, what will be? Can I go A&E check on baby? Any one experience it before?

My 15weeks + 5days appointment at KKH

Firstly, I am under the subsidized route of KKH. Also this is my first pregnancy. So today I had my 15 weeks 5 days appointment at KKH and was suprised that I had no scan scheduled. Turns out it is just to hear the baby’s heartbeat (which lasted for only 30 secs) and consultation with a doctor. What a waste of time!!! 😂😂I asked so many questions regarding my previous blood test and doc just said that all is normal and good… and that’s it. I asked for more pre natals cos I finished almost one box of the obimin and fish oil. Guess what? The bill came to a whopping $147.23. Very suprising that only pre natal vitamins costs me this much with the hassle of going down to KKH at 8 in the morning 😂 Oh well. Looking forward to my 20th week then! P.S this is only my 3rd appointment and its already costing me almost $500… I wonder how people have many kids and keep up!! Times are hard 😂

2nd Trimester matters

Since I started 2nd Trimester, I began vomiting over slightest things. I lost appetite and can’t seems to digest the food. Dinner time is the worst and I end up skipping dinner frequently. Sleeping time is also challenging coz I keep having the urge to empty my bladder although I drink less at night. To make things worse I feel that my chest is so tight/ narrow that it’s so difficult for me to breathe. Any tips / remedies to share with me? 😔
