Seed like brown discharge

* panty liner image attached* Noticed a seed like brown discharge on my panty liner. I’m 33 weeks pregnant currently, is this normal? Should I be concern? Have not experienced this before.

Bigger upper belly

After sittinh down, the upper part of my stomach is bigger, does it mean that my baby is there? Does it consider as the baby head is up?

no, it’s because your uterus is pushed up when you sit down

Delivery at NUH

Can husband accompany during induction for NUH subsidised mummy?

Yes you can for induce as well as labour ward. Husband is allowed. I was at NUH for first pregnancy, 2018 and they allowed.

Diarrhea and vomitting

Im at 32weeks. Im not sure whats the cause of me vomitting and having diarrhea. What kind of home remedies i could do so subside my stomach. Its really painful 😭

At the current moment if you are 32 weeks pregnant with such symptoms, you are advise to visit doctor ASAP and they can prescribe the right medication for you. Just FYI, it can be due to gastric, stomach flu virus or normal diarrhea. This can trigger your pregnancy at any point. Hence advisable to do it ASAP to avoid prolong pain.

Pre delivery expenses Medisave

Hi! 1st time mum here and very confused on Medisave. I have been paying upfront for pre delivery expenses and Medisave says you can claim up to $900 for this. I am not sure what claiming means? If I already paid 900$upfront and the bills can only be submitted at delivery, I’m confused where the reimbursement goes - do I get it to my bank account? Or where does the 900$ go, thank you! Sorry if silly question but I’m really really confused. Thanks!

I am compiling all my pre delivery bill and gonna let them deduct through my medisave after birth!

Hi Im currently at 32 weeks and every time after sitting down for sometime when standing up i will have pain around my pelvic/lower tummy area. I need to stand for few seconds before i can walk with slight pain. Anyone experience this before and what do u do to reduce the pain.

Hi mummies, at 31wks and 6days my baby weight is 1.9kg. Is it small? I prefer my baby to be chubby

you can eat more healthy fat like avocado to gain weight

KKH subsidised patient

Hi mummies, i'm a ftm under KKH subsidised. Currently 32 weeks and I have no plans to switch to private with a fixed gynae. Just wondering if I still can get the A ward after delivery? or is that specially for private patients only? Thanks in advance!

I don’t think so, you can check with the counter at your next appointment for confirmation :)

Please help! Jacqueline Jung or Serene Thain at KKH?

Hi mummies! Hope you can help with my dilemma. My current gynae is Tan Shu Qi at KKH. I went under private cause I chose her as my gynae. She was so sweet, kind, and soft but today at my appt she told me she is away during my EDD so I have to choose between 2 doctors she recommended to me. Has anyone experienced with Jacqueline Jung or Serene Thain? I try to search Jacquline jung's review but can't find much about her.

hi there! im currently under Dr Serene Thain! so far shes been very sweet and kind, and i love that she always takes her time to make sure that all my qns are answered. Definitely going to have her as my gynae for my next baby
