Gynae service price

May I know how much is standard gynae fee for private hospital? How much is acceptable?

17:14 Wah, private gynae fees in Singapore can be quite shiong on the wallet lah! Generally for each consultation it's around $100-$200+ per visit, and for delivery package at private hospital like Mount Elizabeth or Gleneagles can go up to $15,000-$30,000 depending on whether normal or C-sect. Medisave can help cover some of it but honestly I feel anything within $20,000-$25,000 for the whole pregnancy journey is still considered "acceptable" lah, though of course everyone's budget different one!

Anyone feeling the same, i don’t really have no appetite or sensitive of food smell. But I feel like I have a lot of phlegm that difficult to puke out, itchy throat and keep have feeling need to cough to clear the phlegm. wake up at night want to pee often and dehydrated so much, feel mouth very dry. Clearing throat occasionally can make me feel like wanna vomit also.

Yes same here. i have alot of phelgm and alot of wind. Keep me bloated. and sometimes gag.. N vomitted just lot of phlegm. I cough alot at night. but i am ok with day time. I call it myself "night sickness" rather than morning sickness. 😅 Good thing is that, I still can eat meals and taste drinks. I hope you also able to get proper meals and drinks. Juices and fruits help me in my appetite. Especially when I feel hungry and not in appetite. I wake up at night bcos in need of water or hunger. Sometimes at 3am, i make for myself smoothie to fulfill my hunger and thirst

Labetalol in early pregnancy

Hi mommies. Im still in first tri but my BP was high (140s) so Dr prescribed Labetalol 100mg x2 to be taken thrice a day. Anyone taken this before? Please share your experiences and side effects! Thank u!

Keeping your blood pressure under control is important because uncontrolled hypertension can be riskier for both mum and baby than the medication itself. I would keep taking as prescribed and let your doctor know if you experience severe dizziness, fainting, a very slow heartbeat, or if your BP remains high despite the medication. Hope it helps bring your readings down soon ❤️

Quetiapine in Pregnancy

Hi there.. any mummies or mummies to be taking Quetiapine for mood and severe insomnia in pregnancy? Does it affect pregnancy? #askmommies

Hi mama, this is really a question for your doctor or gynae to answer properly, especially since it's about medication in pregnancy. Every situation is different, and they'll know your full medical history and can advise you on what's safest for you and baby. Please do reach out to them soon if you haven't already, yah. Wishing you all the best.

Weight loss and gynae recommendation

Hi all mamas to be! Am around 5 weeks pregnant but have been losing weight pretty consistently (have lost about 2kg+ in the past two weeks) even though I don’t have any nausea or food aversions (have been eating normally if not more) - is this normal? Also does anyone have any thoughts on Dr Lee Jiah Min from The O&G Specialist Clinic?

On the weight loss, even without nausea, early pregnancy can affect your body in unexpected ways, so it's best to flag this to your gynae ASAP since 2kg in two weeks is worth checking out! As for Dr Lee Jiah Min, she's super experienced: a Senior Consultant with over 22 years in O&G, and has done more than 8,000 laparoscopic surgeries! She was also previously a Senior Consultant at KKH's Minimally Invasive Surgery department, so she's really the real deal! You'd be in great hands, mama
